Nope....won't go under $20.00 tonight. Several good reasons for that.

What say you?
<< <i>So who's calling a bottom? This year's stunning collapse of PMs coupled with the equity markets rise to all time highs has some saying PMs are done. I'm not one of them and feel we are very close (~10%) to a bottom for 2013 anyway.

$$$ has been rotating into the stock market and out of PM's for over one year. More sellers than buyers. Until the potential return favors PM's and not equities, PM will have a difficult time gaining any substantial ground. We may be bottoming out now, but if we are, don't expect a repeat of 2011.
<< <i>Typically the last stages of a correction seem to be the worst. That's when the market shakes out the weakest ones. And we have a strong support in this area. The highs from 2008 are around here. I bet we're going to rebound soon! >>
I think so too but it might not be until fall. If you can buy under $20 this summer? Back up the truck!
Many members on this forum that now it cannot fit in my signature. Please ask for entire list.
<< <i>I'd actually be afraid if we dropped below 20 and stayed there. I certainly won't be buying below $20. I'll just wait for $15. >>
You might not get it. Certainly $15 could happen but I would be shocked to see it go that low near term.
Even if it goes up into the 30's/1500's and above, wouldn't you have reservations about buying then?
<< <i>I guess it depends what kind of oz one has. I sold a 1 oz round today for just over $75. It was about $35 more than I expected. It was a nice birthday present. >>
This is very true , im regularly selling 1 oz .999 silver rounds and getting $110 a pop without effort.
<< <i>It will be a long time before anyone has any confidence in the steadily growing price again - at least over a year.

To me, PM's are just another commodity, with only one exception, it has more doomsayers and conspiracy nuts following it. Ignore those 2 factions and treat it like you would a stock purchased. If a stock becomes "pricey or overbought," it's time to take a profict. If it becomes undervalued and the stocks fundamentals have not changed, buy it. The 64 thousand dollar question is: are PM's currently undervalued and have the fundamentals changed? Maybe, maybe not. Sometimes the best course of action is: to do nothing.
