That's a 2 kilo coin! The Perth mint (or maybe it's the RCM) makes a 10 kilo silver coin. The premium however is ridiculous!

anything over 10 oz. limits your pool of potential buyers.

Times have indeed changed. I remember buying a Monarch 50oz bar a few years ago (when they opened I think) for $900 delivered.

100 oz bar and I agree with derryb about anything over 10 oz limits your pool of buyers. I have lifted up a 1000 oz bar....wowzah!

The 100 oz bar seems to be the favored choice of most serious buyers of means. I have several 100 oz bars but I agree that the 10 oz size is more practical and makes the most sense for the great majority of bullion buyers. Someone voted 1000 oz in the poll. Can you tell us about it?

They weigh a little over 62 pounds and they are difficult to move. These are mostly used by industry rather than for the average investor.

5 kilo Perth mint bars. They stack well with the 100 oz bars.

    Kilo bars all the way.

Decent premium above spot for common ones, premiums still attached to harder to find styles/brands.

It's all about what the people want...

In such a relatively small package they seem quite heavy. Have you ever picked up and held an 100 oz bar?image

I had one of those 1000oz ingots for about 24 hours a few years ago.

    Now it's 10oz ones.
