First and foremost, allow me to apologize for my actions.

I am unsure of how it actually happens but any time I change focus into a new area (In this case PMs), that new area... well, plummets. Today, I just conducted an on line transaction and expect to take delivery of a few ounces of Silver and I am expecting a loss (As usual) and in doing so, have caused you to bear the same inevitable loss... image

If in fact the same routine of me buying something and the value drops happens... I am sorry.

That said, I am excited to start my "Stack" with this initial purchase and finally will be able to participate in the Friday PM Porn thread. (Can't wait for next week).

Ray

Edited to spell correct the title.

Well You brought me luck just the same, yesterday I found a 1951 Quarter in my change. The woman at the Ice Cream store handed me one quarter back and it was a good one image

You're in good company. If you purchased silver within the last 2 years, chances are, you're "under water."

When the 14500 dow goes to 8000, you'll be saying; I sure am glad I bought that silver today!
    Enjoy.

Actually, 12 years ago PCGS changed over their forums and started us all fresh... I have been here since the old forums image

I had PCGS forums as my home page for over 10 years image Logged on every day until I was sent over seas.

Happy to be in the game (PMs),

Down 28 cents at the moment, if I buy again the bottom might fall out and the DOW might just explode... Should I sell...lol, just kidding.

Welcome to the submarine club! Most of us are underwater on our silver purchases for the last 2 years and counting

This is because people who buy PMs usually do so via an emotional impulse.

Hey, did anyone notice that silver's off today? Pretty soon, they'll be giving it away.

I have yet to receive my paltry purchase from last week, until I receive the package I will not be buying more (Saving up some fiat money too).

Sorry, I should have further elaborated as to how effective my "Buy and Lose" system works... sometimes... I ride it into the dirt image

At one point, I purchased a few thousand shares of a certain stock... After it started going down... I purchased more because "It was on sale"... Then again because it went lower... For a long time it was worth about 4 bucks... then it just went away...

I do plan on continuing to buy silver, worst case scenario this time it will not just "disappear", at least I will have a new doorstop when the bottom falls out.

Ya... Sorry, I think I purchased too much at once... Feels like I bought at the apex of the roller coaster and we are dropping down the vertical slope.

It has to level out somewhere. I was surprised yesterday when both PMs and the market was down

I was shrewd enough to buy those Freedom Girls right before silver started on it's way down. Am I concerned? Not really. It will fluctuate.image

I wish the OP would go on an extended vacation & stop buying for a while...It appears that the train is not slowing down. I'll try to board it after it comes to a halt.

I am planning a trip to the local B&M to see if they have something for a fellow forum member (That's like a mini vacation image ), I may pick up a thing or two for myself if my eye catches anything.

The way I see it, Silver is on sale and with each drop, opportunity rises to get a better deal. I am sorry if your position is otherwise effected by the drop as I am sure many are not in the same position/mindset that I am in.

The good/bad of my situation is one in the same... I do not have disposable money to sink into PMs so my purchases are small and steady which forces me to dollar cost average the stack. It's good that I don't put large sums into a set amount then watch it drop and bad that I can not take advantage of what I feel is a good price (Though every day it goes down I feel it is a good price... who knows where it will land).

    Keep stackin,

I did go to the B&M today and I did buy some Silver... but it will probably be the last time I go to this guy. His people skills SUCK as a business owner that deals with buying and selling.

Anywho, since I was over charged I do not believe this purchase will effect the market.

    Keep stackin,
    Ray
