I'm looking for opinions about these three examples:

Technical grade and eye appeal for each of them? Thanks!

All of them look like nice pieces. Assuming the images accurately reflect the coins, I like the top one best for its color, luster, and eye appeal.

I like the middle one best.

Thanks. What technical grade would you assign to each of them?

All could be have a li'l more "dirt", but if I had to choose, I'd go for numero dos.

I like 3 the best. Looks to be more crusty.

    1 has more rim hits.

2 almost has a polished look but could be the image.

Agreed. Hard to not like the Charlotte mint coins w/ the obverse mintmark!

Is it safe to say that all three have at least AU details?

Based on the pics, which can be misleading,...they look high-end XF to AU.

I agree with BustCuds' order. #2 has issues, or deceivingly poor photography.

I don't care for #2 because the obverse especially looks like it has been smoothed. It could be the photograph.

I'm always a sucker for coppery toning on gold, so #1 attracts me. #3 looks like it has fewer small marks, but the overall look is what you might call "quiet" with no pizzazz. To me it would be between numbers 1 and 3 going by the photos.

I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

I'm with BillJones on this one, for exactly the same reasons stated, though I wouldn't have called #3 lacking in pizzazz.

All of this based on photos, of course. In hand, who's to say what my pick would be.

None of the above, most likely, since I couldn't afford any of them.

But yeah, if I theoretically had the money, and all three coins looked exactly like the photos above, I'd be tossed up between #1 and #3.

#1 - Best color of the group, but the scratch behind Lib's hairbun could be problematic
#3 - better color than #2, but photo makes it look a bit dull
    #2 - looks like it's been cleaned

All three are AU coins, wear-wise.
