Looks real to me as well...harshly cleaned for sure.
What are you seeing that says fake ? O-102a with all the right cracks and dots front and back...as far as I can tell at a glance.

he is thinking of the upright eagle that was introduced later in the series. this eagle leaning throws a lot of people off including me the first few times i saw them

looks kosher to me, too...

although the thing has been scrubbed pretty deep, it's still authentic. The eagle's motif is consistent with all other 1808 CBHs I've handled.

Looks like the proper reverse now of the O.102A

That coin is genuine although it looks like it's polished and the white balanace is probably way off in the photo. Here a picture of the same type of early John Reich die work.

if anything its a real hack job in the clean dept. im glad it ended and is no longer there.
