Here are just some quick obverse pics of my just completed 7070.
I tried my best to keep most coins with the same overall look.

This one is on the way to fill the last spot.

    Cool, way to go!

Now you need a gold set to match.

Something to be very proud of. While I could quibble over a few of them, it looks like a very nice, well matched circulated set. How long did it take you to complete it?

    I love it.

Although I can appreciate the perfectly matching patina of smoe sets, this set looks like a real collector-type 7070.

Nice accomplishment. Curious did you go for the key in getting a 1916 instead of the 1917 Standing Liberty Quarter? Usually the trade off is getting a much higher grade by opting for the 1917 Type I without having to break the bank.

Seeing a hole filled set like yours makes one nostalgic for the pre slab days.

    Really nice image

But to me those few BU coins are ruining the overall beautiful circ look; this could look more impressive and more cohesive IMHO. I can deal with the Morgan but the bright BU stuff...takes away the looks of a "collection" to me.

I believe it took me about 2 1/2 years to finish the set.

I see you settled for two seated dollars. I bought a 1799 heraldic eagle to put into the first opening. I even had to scrape it out a bit to make it fit. Also, did you notice how the seated dollars just fell into their holes? It's like the manufacturer had no idea how to make the openings the correct size. Or they didn't want to spend the money to make them right.

Uh, no he didn't settle, the album clearly calls for no motto and with motto seated dollars. If you placed a 1799 in yours, technically you're doing things incorrectly.

Good job finishing the set! What were the hardest coins to find for it? It was difficult for me to find a decent circulated coronet half cent reeded edge bust half. The all seemed to be much worse or much better than I wanted. Why no 1981 cent and nickel? Have an '81 susan b in there too? Thought about having a trade dollar with chops?

Very, very nice consistent look. It's obvious that a lot of time and care, along with a good eye, went into that set. Congratulations! image
