I was posting for ASEs, but got a response for morgan's.
Conflation's silver value is $23.64, so if I buy for that, no loss, only possible added premium value later, eh?

hey if you buy them for $23.64, I'll buy them off you for $25 each! lol quiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick profit! :-)
but really, if you can find them at that price then...wow. that price is so low you could sell them on ebay and still manage a profit after all the fees!
Too many positive BST transactions with too many members to list.

<< <i>Very very good price. Very little to no downside. Even if silver was to drop, these tend to keep the numismatic premium.....unless they are culls. >>
Common date Morgans & Peace $ only carry a small "numismatic premium," as such they will also drop in price proportionally to spot, just like they did in the the past & will do so in the future.
Because it seems unlikely that someone here would sell them for that price.
If it's a craigslist or a newspaper or something, be very, very cautious. Could be phishing, could be fakes, could be someone just trying to find out where someone who likes precious metals lives. Proceed with caution if it's from a source like this.

Yep, it was a craigs post they responded to, and asked if I'd buy morgans. I just said I'm looking to buy a few ASE's.
So, I'll see if anything pans out, but likely a feeler. Will be more cautious.
They could pull a gun on me, but I'm still more afraid of my wife finding out!
From APMEX ad: * This is the price APMEX will pay you when selling your items to APMEX. Subject to certain minimums
Don't quote me on this, but see that part that says subject to certain minimums? That means you selling them at least $10k worth of those condition coins to get that advertised price. An order to them for <$10k worth of merchandise is a much lower price they will pay you.
Maybe someone who regularly sells to them can confirm or speak to this, but I've heard what I am saying from local B&M dealers.

True...click on APMEX buy price and it will give you the details.
"The buy price is for transactions exceeding $10,000.00. For transaction of less than $10,000.00 the price paid will be at the discretion of APMEX and may be less than what is displayed here."

For raw silver dollars with the lot value under 10K, deduct .50 cents from the listed price per coin on the website.
also, if you know the traders , you can ask for one specifically by name. (all the guys and gals there are great(trae, mack, mary, others)
Well, I would think most here are not fortunate enough to be in that privledged postion. This is why I will "pool" together with others I know locally when selling to them...strength in numbers for those who don't do it for a living kind of thing
magnet, size & feel, scale, protection
I'm usually a pretty easy going flexible kinda of personality, so I have built in rules to help a bit. Under these conditions no connection to home, and if the deal is questionable in any way, from initial view, to any glitch along the way, just no thank you, turn and walk away.
Likely a moot point now. Either feeling things out, or got a better price. NP
Likely be no time I would be selling back to Apmex, not expecting a good price for my few things. I'd sell them here.
<< <i>If you don't already know, memorize how many grams real Morgans weigh, and weigh the ones you're thinking about buying on a digital scale before you purchase. >>

Yup. The BST forum and the monthly BST thread in the PM forum is a great place to buy and sell coins and PM's and it's free. As long as you deal with forum members that have been active participants here for awhile you are fairly safe. Most can provide numerous references and it's possible to get some good deals.
