Do you sometimes like to go "au natural" ?

Broke my nuggets today moving snow, so decided to share a few.

Raw nuggets tend to command a high premium but there is something special about gold in its natural state.

    They're pretty, but like you say: They command a premium.

    Also, they don't have a purity on them.

    They don't indicate weight.

    They have no face value, LT, NCLT or otherwise.

    Cool stuff. I would collect these if I had the money. The lack of purity information, etc. prevents it from being "bullion" for investment purposes (that and the high price).

    I have a couple of natural nuggets (7 gm and 6 gm).... found while panning, real 'eureka' moments. Cheers, RickO
