As soon as gold and silver investing makes the cover of Business week, Money, and Fortune, we'll know the top is in.

Oh, they did that in April-September 2011?

I think a lot of the general public relates it to coin collecting, and think of a silver chains or earrings.

When they think of gold, its a ring or jewelry. They know of gold bars in movies and federal banks, but don't relate to it on a personal basis.

Sometimes I am able to plant a seed in someone's thinking. After that its up to them.

Its a world of small circles at this time.
I've been pondering downsides to everyone being interested. It would bring in more government intervention.
Maybe we are better off the way it is now. But that won't last another lifetime.

I worry when 'everyone' is talking about it and 'becoming' and authority (and I use that word very loosely)...the crowd always reacts to short term activity. Cheers, RickO

Pretty much the only resource for Silver I know of is Ebay and its impossible to get a good deal the way I see it, Morgans typically sell in the $37-$39 range and 1 oz Bars and Rounds at $40 after shipping.

    Not worth it

I buy at the 2X a month coin show by me and pay melt for junk silver. $2-$3 over spot for ASEs, less than that for silver rounds.

I went over there three times (a total of 39 months) and I did not get in on that. I learned that if you can not fully explain it, then you should noyt invest in it... I still do not know how to trade currencies... still don't do it.
