My impression was that they have about 30 more designs in mind. I looked around, but I couldn't find the video that you referred to about re-issuing the same designs. Do you have a link?
If it's a popular concept and a popular design, it may not hurt the current year's production at all and may actually serve to enhance the value of the first year's issues to re-issue them for another year or two, or three or four. If this small operation stands the test of time & management and grows enough to make it's mark, you may be hoping for a long run of the 1st year designs, since you will own the first year of the series which will probably be the scarcest one.
It may be to everyone's advantage to have a multiple year run, especially if these designs become widespread and well-recognized. Based on their product rollout, a strong demand is already there, and they need to focus on improving their execution. If they keep it all sufficiently together, I don't think that anyone will be too disappointed. Aside from the birthing pains, I'm still a fan.
Q: Are You Printing Money? Bernanke: Not Literally
I consider myself lucky to have received my order when I did. Chris Duane is an interesting fellow, but I have to see a ton of improvement from him in the area of business professionalism before I would ever touch another of his enterprises with a 10ft. pole.
Mulligan Mint, from what I'm reading - will not ever have my consideration, ever. I don't fault anyone for being unable to project the massive influx of orders which was entirely unexpected and I do understand their delays in shipping. They've finally caught up and made good on their orders, but what I don't like and won't ever tolerate is:
Sleazy business practices, to wit:
1) not giving Chris Duane his 1,500 oz back along with his original dies
2) mis-appropriation of those dies to produce a "double obverse" Freedom Girl/Slave Queen ripoff.
I don't any of the legal arrangements for this crappy partnership, but I know enough to stay far, far away from all of them.
I broke my own rule of dealing with only established and reliable businesses when the Freedom Girls came out, because I found the design and message to be compelling.
In the end, they are silver rounds. Nice ones, to be sure.

They are doing what the US Mint does or what happened to Baseball cards in the early 90's. They are producing subsets, placed in over priced packs (In this case of 100). Did you see the premium on these coins? 100% Mark up? I'll pass on the hype, my pockets are not deep enough for this pump and dump hype.
Too bad, I really like their Freedom Girl design (I still don't have one). Ray

Rumor has it that CD and his designer, Heidi Wastweet are shopping around new designs with new mints.
"Heidi Wastweet, the artist who did "Debt & Death" and "Freedom Girl" has also stuck with Chris and is also now has nothing to do with anything new coming out of MM.
Chris is finalising deals with 2 new mints to produce genuine SBSS medallions. The next 2 designs in the genuine series are entitled "Warbird" and "Love". Both designed and sculpted by Heidi."

I knew it would happen.
They would have to be a renewed and reliable company before I would order from them again or recommend to anyone.

I didn't order the others but even with the minor problems I wont miss the above. Take care. jws
Gonna cause some confusion- especially if Mulligan Mint produces different reverses. I know long read, watch entertaining videos.
