Seems like a smaller business that is a bit in over their heads on minimal equipment and man power to handle the volume of stock and customers, so I feel bad for them a bit. I assume they feel they only have time to keep doing the work, but not the contact followups.
But if going to keep taking the sales, and cashing the checks... they are responsible for their handling and contact w customers and their rep. I'm learning in this arena, delay and lack of delivery happens often.
Won't be the first business to go out, with customers money in their pocket.
I hope everyone gets their stuff soon and they get better at it.
the video conflicts with delay statement on the website.
My guess is that they had plenty of blanks to meet order timeline on website. Some wholesale deal was made with Provident Metals for beau coup Freedom Girls. They stopped everything and worked this order and most blanks were used up. They have struggled to secure more blanks quickly (not shortage..volume...logistics etc) and they burned a bunch of people.
Freedom Girl is in stock at PM but was not for sale until 1-29 so how can they be working orders "up until 1-16"?
We may now know what CoinsfortheCause means.."Cause we want to make a bunch of money from wholesale deals".
All of this would be fine by me if it did not conflict with the overall message from Chris Duane (I think his credibility and "message" suffer the most here and not all his doing but he picked his biz partners).
Other than that its clear they are in over there heads (a couple of teeny boppers filling orders after school?!).
Just my personnel opinion. I still like the coins.
32.07 at provident sounds preferable to ordering direct and waiting a month or 2.
I don't like the freedom girl as much as the other designs I wonder why provident doesn't list the slave queen for sale?
In any case over at nucleo exchange you can get ASE's starting at 31.90
Anyone patient enough to wait 6 weeks for a freedom girl wouldn't sweat a bullion direct transaction , they aren't known to be blazing fast but they can beat 6 weeks.
Lucky you. Still no email response from my inquiry the other day. Pisspoor, especially with the email about the mintage updates and the other daily emails.
I finally got an email reply from "Taylor" yesterday saying he pushed my order forward now and it will go out within 48 hrs. This was after several voice messages I left as well as emails stating they were starting to get a bad rap/reputation on the coin boards(did not mention any one specifically). We shall see. Still really poor service. Never again.

Guess I'll keep waiting but I will not be ordering in the future. >>
This is interesting if true. You loan them money for a month or 2 while waiting for a product then get frustrated you get a haircut or you keep waiting ?
This is why I never buy anything unless its actually in stock. I learned that lesson as a kid when I was into dirt bikes and go carts. Parts were always on back order and they would take orders and sit on the money until they could make and sell a whole batch at one time. Some people would wait a year or more for a part that the vendor claimed were backordered 4 or 6 weeks.
Why should provident have any freedom girl rounds to sell at all? Shouldn't every slave queen ordered have been made first and mailed out? The slave queen was advertised at least a month before any mention of the freedom girl.
Well I'll try my luck on the proof versions. Today is the last day (actually just about 2.5hrs left) to order the proof versions of both Slave Queen and Freedom Girl, and for every two Freedom Girl proofs that are purchased you can save $5 on one Slave Queen proof. I purchased 10 of each just to flip in a year or two. I think they'll sell for a fairly good profit considering the low mintage of each and the current sales of prior issues on eBay.

Mine showed up this afternoon, priority mail. There was a slip in there apologizing for the delay in shipping as well as a "free gift" - The copper debt piece to make ammends for the long wait.
I'm happy to have them I suppose. The quality of my 3 seem very high with hardly a nick or tick anywhere.
Based on Meltdown's pic, I think that I'm going to be happy with my order, when it does finally ship. Meltdown, did you receive a shipping notice prior to getting the coins?

Yes. They sent an email saying they personaly walked my package to their shipping center. It showed up 2 days later.
FINALLY, I just received an email stating my bar has shipped via USPS Priority. I guess my threatening emails and voice mails had an effect. Shouldn't have had to go thru all the BS however. Still really poor customer service and I will not order from these folks again. Good luck to those still waiting to hear.

3 emails in with no response in over a week. Ridiculously crappy customer service, and I'm assuming their little production disclaimer on the website is the mental justification for not responding to emails. This is the kind of service that most companies make people take classes on how not-to-do things.
Finally got a service rep response. Supposedly, like all the other generic responses to inquiries, my order was hand delivered to the shipping dept to be mailed out tomorrow. Whatever, damage done.

Problems with customer service, order fullfilment, and shipping are valid complaint points to update. And if someone reading this thread decided not to order based on these issues, well that's good.
I don't mess with other people's money and I don't like folks messing with mine non-communicato.
Its tough enough getting by these days as it is without loaning out money for a month or two with no interest.
collecting peoples cash and mailing out rounds 6 weeks later seems to work out fine if silver spot drops 3$ an ounce but what would have happened if instead of $28 it went to $35 an ounce?
Maybe its not sketchy at all, maybe they just didn't anticipate the demand and fell behind. Fine but they were taking orders for the slave queen at least a month before anyone heard about the Freedom girl. My question is if each design is a limited run then why not ship every slave queen round then make the new style. What idiot decided to produce the freedom girl first?
Finally received mine along with a 1oz Cu token as a gift for being so late. I have to say the Freedom Girl rounds are really well struck! However, never again from them directly. Too long and really bad customer service.

So they aren't taking cc now and apparently won't be for a while. I wonder if my back orders on cc will now be ignored? I thought it would be interesting to collect the series but this is amazingly frustrating.

Don't worry about them no longer accepting credit cards, you can buy on eBay (and use plastic via paypal) and you might even save a buck. For those who still haven't received, sorry for you ...
I ordered six items during the 1/29/13 10,000 pc FG sales event. On Fri, 3/1/13 I called customer service to inquire about the status of my non-shipped order. After chit-chat with the lady, I asked her "if a woman of her influence and stature in the organization couldn't get my order shipped?". She laughed and told me yes, she could. My order went to "completed" status on Mon, so I guess it's headed my way. Fingers crossed.
lol, so we now know that threatening to sacrifice a goat and pouring on the charm are two accepted forms of expediting. I sent another email consisting of various forms of complaint, and now they are "walking my order down to shipping".
Has anyone whose order got "walked down to shipping" received their order yet?

<< <i>Sales Temporarily Suspended Until March 22, 2013.
Due to the overwhelming demand for SBSS products and the inability of our vendors and suppliers to adequately meet the quantity and quality demands of our customers, our partner, Mulligan Mint has taken matters into its own hands.
During this brief period, Coins for the Cause and Mulligan Mint will be working around to clock to meet two main objectives:
1. Ship out the 80,000+ oz of silver owed to SBSS customers The demand for SBSS medallions has been immense. With thousands of orders each month, Mulligan Mint has been running 24 hour shifts since half-way through Trivium sales (December.) The problem has been quality silver blanks. First it was availability, then quality. With well over 200,000 ounces sold since we launched in September, Mulligan Mint has never quite been able to catch up. The unprecedented Freedom Girl launch day selling nearly 20,000 ounces in less than 24 hours exacerbated the problem. People say "it's a good problem to have." To this we say "it's still a problem." It is our primary goal to get all orders paid for out the door by the 22nd of March.
2. Establish complete control over all stages of production. Since our very first medallion, vendors have either failed us by largely missing quoted turnaround times or by supplying blank silver of a quality unbefitting SBSS product, which had to be reprocessed. Mulligan Mint has spared no expense in taking control of the situation. Unfortunately, until now, time was our enemy. Now with its own caster, rolling mill, punch press, rimmer, burnishing equipment, annealing oven, and presses; Mulligan will be able control quality and output starting with raw .999 fine silver grain through a shipped package headed to your door within 10 business days. >>
They shot themselves in the foot by releasing new designs so quickly without having the capacity to do so. Now the issue is not the ability to mint the coins - it's a supply or quality of blanks issue. However, looks like Mulligan Mint can/will handle the entire process from start to finish. If Mulligan Mint is their "Partner", they should have been helping before now I would think.

Gainesville has these now, provident has had them for weeks and my opening day order has yet to ship. I was told last week that all opening day orders would be shipped out by the end of this week. Guess they were wrong.
According to the comments in the last Youtube video they are going to reissue all designs next year. Plan to watch prices tank. I wouldn't touch one on ebay right now. This is a really dumb move on their part in my opinion. I am really puzzled with this company's business plan. Tell customers that it is a limited mintage and then state that you are going to reissue the same designs next year? Yeah, that will make people really happy. Idiots.
