Natural forces of supply and demand are the best regulators on earth.

If it's so easy to give Germany their gold back, why isn't it already done?

You're assuming that price is left to the market and is not influenced by the very forces that KWN tends to say are influencing it. The fact that price is not free to corraborate their stories tends to give creditbility to their stories. One should not rule out any possibilities when it comes to protecting the dollar.

    interesting theory...
my theory is all that manipulation story is a manipulated story itself...

i will say that these hedge funds are friggen great whites and will leave no one in their path,
if said someone was naked short or whatever short u want to call it and the funds smell blood they would have
eatin them alive, as they did to amaranth, corzine and others...

oh wait maybe they did already twice, as they ate them up alive goin to 1920 & 49 or so,
and then regurgitated them and did it again back to 1180 & 18...

It's not a "gift" since Germany owns it. In fact, it's criminal not to return it, doncha' think?

If there was anything improper with the gold held
by the Fed for Germany or any other owner, gold would
skyrocket. Somebody (not Zero Hedge) always knows.

Since gold is at $1250, not $2000, all the gold is there.

Germany can get their gold any time they want.

Germany can get their gold any time they want.

Let's review. First, they wouldn't even let the Germans LOOK at their own gold. Then, they finally let them assay a few bars. THEN, they told the Germans that it would take 7 years before they could get their gold back.

The fact is that Germany wants their gold back and cannot get it back "any time they want".

That's really all that we know from public information. If you have other documentation, let's see it.

And your information is factual and not derived from Internet or conspiracy postings? Why is there no official complaint issued from the German Gov't? Is it also possible, that Germany already has their gold? If not, is it possible, that the potential storage area in Germany is as of yet, not fully secure? I believe there is more to that story, for security reasons, that we are not privy to.

This story is a farce contrived at a time when gold began its decline to try to support price. Lots of good intentioned folk fell for it and have been fleeced.

NY Times and WSJ both reported on it. I do realize that reporting isn't what it used to be, or what it ought to be but these reports were widely published.

And if I remember correctly, so did the German papers.

Part of the German gold is actually stored under the grassy knoll in Dallas.

Additional German gold is in Area 51 where it is guarded by Bigfoot and Elvis.

The rest we sent to the moon where we now want to designate a the
landing site as a National Park.
