<< <i>If you start to see me selling stuff, it's not due to any tragedy or sickness or hardship or anything like that. It's due strictly to being excited and wanting to further my professional development and career, and being blessed to at least have the opportunity.

I literally have plenty of time to sale things, even spread out over 4 years if necessary, so I don't plan on offering any fire sales or significantly discounted from market pricing deals. However, if you've had your eye on something over the years, you might have a chance over the next couple of years of snagging that item. I'm probably not going to actively solicit sales at least until I get back from the National Championship Game in January, but if you wish to start inquiring about anything, just shoot me a PM and I'll reply as I have time >>

You're a real piece of work, Paul. Please point out where exactly in Mike's post where he had anything specific for sale, any prices, or when exactly he'd have anything for sale.

Over the years, certain members and posts have set me off pretty good. This is the second time for you - first on the Oates, which was personal, and now your actions and words toward Mike. I can't adequately express the utter contempt I have for you and your actions in this matter. You had no call to ask for this thread to be moved.

  • I actually sold the bulk of my autograph and baseball card collection to help fund law school 11 years ago. I don't miss the card collection but there are quite a few autographs I wish I had back. Though, to succeed in law school you have to go all in. So, I fully understand what you're doing. Someone had posted some recommendations for law school which I agree with all of them except for study groups. My study group was invaluable and I would have never understood Constitutional Law or Evidence if it wasn't for those guys. They're also some of the best friends I have today. Good luck!

    Knapp,

no sir, it sold a few months ago at $1,000

    Mike

    knapp,

pretty funny that you bumped this tonight as I start law school tomorrow. Texas A&M School of Law. Just an Fyi, if any of y'all send me PM's with questions, ideas, just talking, etc., i'm not being rude or inconsiderate if I don't respond as quickly as I used to. I always try to help people best I can when they PM with a question, but i'm not going to have nearly as much free time as I have now. if you think you are getting ignored, just be patient and i'll try and get around to answering your pm when I get a chance. i'm still keeping my usual job while going to law school as well, and trying to be the best parent I can be to my kids, so not sure how often i'll get a chance to devote time to the board, but i' will still be actively collecting, dealing, buying, selling, etc, but please be patient with my turnaround time effective now.

    Thanks y'all,

Enjoy your first day of law school! I really enjoyed my time in law school and I remain close friends with several classmates (one of whom works in Houston and another in Dallas). I highly recommend a small study group of three to six people. Give yourself a little time to find people who might be a good fit. Not so much people who think like you, but who are equally motivated and intelligent.
