Fun ending to watch in the play-in game to take on the Irish. Pass got tipped and the kid made a natural reaction, albeit a boneheaded play, to catch the football and the clock ran out on GA's chances.
Alabama has been Notre Dame's female dog since they started playing in 1973 with the Irish winning 5 out of 6. Come about 11:30 PM on January 7th, it will be 6 out of 7.
<< <i>Should be a great game! I'm really looking forward to it. Saban is really tough when given the opportunity to prepare! >>
Yep, definitely looking forward to it. I think Brian Kelly will have the Irish ready as well. I do think the Irish are just a little bit better then the community college talent level that most give them credit for . Now just gotta find a REASONABLE ticket (yeah I know good luck with that).
Has anyone been to a Miami Dolphins game and had standing room only tickets in the LIV club??? Earlier today those were available for $1750 and looked like a heckuva lot of fun. Anyone with any experience on that? I had one loaded up in my cart a couple times itching to push the payment button but finally came to my senses. Still toying with that idea. Looked a lot better then paying $1750 to sit in the upper end zone corners at the top
What a nice gesture toward the current Notre Dame students. An alumnus donated $375,000 in order to cut the price of the 2500 tickets allotted to the students in half. They will only be paying $150 for BCS Championship tix now.

Any idea of who it was? The Capobianco family probably made enough off of selling ND licensed products they could/should have stepped up.

Been at some Christmas parties, lots of people saying ND is going to get their butt kicked. I would doubt that, I just hope for a competitive game.
On a side note, about the comment where students will only have to pay $150 for tickets to the game. When I was a student, $150 was a fortune. But then again, I didn't go to ND, and I would assume if you do go to ND, $150 would be pocket change.
Meaning what? That the line opened at 10.5 and everybody is playing Notre Dame ... the eventual outright winner?

Doug, yes that is my daughter.(Having to fight the boys off now dread to see teen years) Hopefully she will never have to see Bama lose a National Championship game. If Saban wins this game he will be 4-0 in NC games and have won 4 of the last 8 BCS games....Cant wait until the game should be a good one. RTR

Is Alabama not the luckiest team on the planet? Last year, Oklahoma state was more deserving to play LSU. And this year, if Ohio state were eligible, they'd be playing Notre Dame.
<< <i>Is Alabama not the luckiest team on the planet? Last year, Oklahoma state was more deserving to play LSU. And this year, if Ohio state were eligible, they'd be playing Notre Dame. >>
Probably not true. All pundits said I read/ heard said that OSU would have been placed third behind Alabama in the final BCS standings anyway. Again, OSU's strength of schedule was weak and unimpressive. Plus, OSU may not have even won the Big Ten Championship. Probably, but they didn't even play in it so we will never know.
Alabama may be the luckiest team on the planet but they are also probably the best college team on the planet as well. Regardless, I will be rooting for ND for the second time in my life on Jan 7.

Lol no way. I know the BCS is flawed, but there is no way they or any other 13-0 team from a major conference not playing ND in the championship. And the way Nebraska laid an egg against Wisconsin, its pretty likely the Buckeyes would be sitting at 13-0 right now.
