That may be the case with Notre Dame playing Nebraska in the Rose Bowl if all three teams don't lose. I still think though, ND has the best chance to go undefeated.

Irish defense dominates again. 11 and 0. While iit wasn't an opponent quite the caliber that SEVEN SEC teams faced today, (seriously, FCS opponents???) the Irish rolled.

Ducks not quite all they were quacked up to be. Good defense beats good offense every time, Even lowly Notre Dame scored more (and gave up less) against Stanford.

ND is capable of winning the Championship as long as their opponent is not from the SEC. Otherwise the SEC Championship game is the real BCS Championship game.

i think with their defense they can play with anyone anywhere. as you have seen alabama, oregon and k st were stopped by solid defenses on the day they lost. nd will showup and play solid if not great defense every game.

I'm a huge Bama fan. However, assuming they play ND in the title game, their defense needs to revert back to early season form. Notre Dame does not need divn intervention. Would be a great game.
One more day to go. I'm ready to see them tee it up against rival USC. My roommate from Notre Dame is going tomorrow. He and I used to go painted up back in the day but I think he's going fully dressed to this one LOL. Maybe if the Irish finish their improbable run tomorrow night, we can meet up and go painted to the BCS Championship game. Their used to be 3 of us that would go to the games that way, but one of the group passed away last year (RIP James, I miss ya Bro!)

LOL. I froze my arse off at ND. I wasn't prepared for the brutal winters at all. I had never been around a place to where when you went outside it was so cold your skin literally hurt. About the only positives for the weather up there is that it really didn't matter how your dates went, the girls always wanted to be close to generate body heat
9 more hours. It's going to be a long day waiting on the game to start. At least I can have fun reading posts on the message boards about how bad ND is, and how we'd get kiled by about 70 percent of D1 football teams and by about 37.3 percent of community colleges
ND might very well lose tonight, heck, I'll go out on a limb and say about 50 percent of teams that play today wil lose, but they've provided me with a season long feeling of joy each Saturday, and for that I'm thankful for. Hopefully those feelings can continue through January 7th but we will have to wait and see. At this point, it's the proverbial playing on house money. Two more wins and they beat the house. They don't do it flashy, but they do it, and that's the name of the game

Nice drive to end the half. Kyle Brindza earning his scholarship so far tonight. Kid has had a rough year at times, nice to see him go 3 for 3 in the first half and capped off with a 52 yarder as time expires.
Hopefully Golson is ok to go in the 2nd half as our backup has ZERO mobility.
