Has there been a rash of bogus (non silver) Sunshine bars?

That is really neat. I need to get one of these.

Probably just a marketing gimmick but if silver ever goes up again it may prove to be useful for authenticating these silver rounds.

Did you notice the "reader card" is an extra $20 bucks. You need the card to see the image... lol

  • I think it's a great idea, but it would make more sense if they gave the reader cards away with purchase..
That way people would be attracted to that particular bar..
So then what happens if every silver bar maker comes up with that same reader but different code ?
Now I have to buy 9 different reader cards at $20 a pop ?
Good idea, bad marketing plan ?

The image is visible by tilting a little the bar.

    YES!

The fake Sunshine Bars have VALID written upside down when you use the card.

I heard that in the future they ware going to make the cards specific to each oz of Silver so you will need one for each...lol. Okay, I'm kidding on both accounts. I think they should give one of these away with each... say, roll or 50 oz purchase. To give one out with every oz would not be cost effective.

Cheaper and easier to buy hologram coins from RCM?
Hard to fake those I'd imagine.
