Have you personally "Trueviewed"?

If so, how much do you think you have spent on all your Trueviewing to date?
Post your FAVORITE (one only....make a choice, even if you can't choose ) Trueview that you had done for a coin you sent in.......also, please keep the size reasonable and don't post the largest size possible....many people hate having to scroll, and if they want to see the extra large size, they can do that on their own

For me, I have probably only Trueviewed about $100-$150 worth so far. There's some others that I have "on deck" that I plan to send in, but since I haven't yet, I won't include them.
Some are in older holders I don't want to lose, some are in "other holders", for whatever reason, and the rest are raw.

The coin that I have Trueviewed, and still enjoy the most, is probably this one.....that I have shown more than a few times....

I've probably had 7-8 coins TrueViewed to date, my first under the $10 quarterly special awhile back, and on the most recent submission for $10 each...so $70-80 total.

I have gotten about 150 coins TrueView photographed. Most were done when that service costs $20 a pop.
It's amazing to think what I could have bought with that money ($3000), but I do really enjoy the photos.

I'm up to about 15 coins trueviewed. Hard to choose but this is one of my favorite coins and the TrueView shows it off well.

I generally do not send coins solely for photography, but if I am having them graded, I get them TrueViewed. I plan to submit my 1861 Registry Set for TrueView for the uniformity of the presentation, but I need a couple tweaks to the set first.

Not my best, and only one of my most enjoyable coins, but probably the best true-view experience. Once True-Viewed, PCGS evidently selected the photo as the plate coin for Memorial Cents on Coinfacts. Funny thing is that it's a PR66BN 1961, and only viewable on the Lincoln Cents main page, but not on the page for 1961 cents, which only list REDS and Cameos. Anyway:

I don't really have a favorite - but if I was pressed, it would probably be the image of the 1953 Jefferson in PR67dcam. A nice example of a very tough date for dcams - found raw in an old proof set from an estate sale.

Funny I was thinking the same thing when I read the OP, as to the question I have none. I might have some done in the future just to try the service, way in the future as I only submit once every four/five yrs. In the past the cost was two high as we have tons of great people here on the boards like Mark Goodman who provide great service for less.

I had my registry set trueviewed a couple years ago while they were being pedigreed and have had a few Trueviewed when cash was a little less tight.

Here's one of a grand total of 7 I have ever had Trueviewd although I own about a dozen coins with portraits by Phil.

(If you didn't say one only Bochiman I would've also posted my favorite 'surprise' Trueview. A coin I didn't know had been Trueviewd when I bought it.)

I always like looking at Cameonut's 1950-1964 CAM and DCAM proofs.

The Trueview's of the coins posted in this thread really show the beauty of the coins very well.

This pattern penny (one of two known and the only example in private hands) is probably my favorite Trueview. I have always loved the Una and the lion design. I am still looking for the pattern five pounds gold version of this beautiful design.

I've got 13 TrueViews--oops, better submit another one . Here's my favorite, which I submitted at a FUN Show for on-site TrueViewing. The piece is ex-James A. Stack, North Georgia, Nevada Collection of Quarter Eagles, and Wexford Collection. It caught my eye in the 1994 Stack's auction, but it took me 14 years to capture the piece. At Mr. Stack's death in 1950, it remained locked away for the next 44 years.

FYI ... You can have TrueViews made of coins inside holders ...

This was an OGH that I didnt want to crack.


PCGS TrueView still did an amazing job through the slab plastic.


So I have a great TrueView photo and my OGH is still intact.

Zero dollars spent on Trueview, do it myself.
I'm not knocking the Trueview service but being unemployed, I have to do it myself.

Zero. Don't see the point. As others have posted, plenty of people take good pics of coins, assuming you want your coins to be imaged in the first place.
