Some Neat Stuff From a Safe That Hadn`t Been Opened in a While

This safe had not been opened in over 20 years.


Haven`t looked at everything but this is a sample of what I`ve come across so far...


Bowtie Bill and Twenty with Date of 1/26/68


Bills made into Rings with said denomination as focal point


Couple of pouches each containing one Morgan
First a 1879-O
(was hoping to see a CC when I flipped it over)



Second a 1901-S



And this 1990 ASE, the most recent thing I saw with some toning


Not mine but I will get to look through everything at a later date.

To me this is the most fun a coin person can have, finding a stash of coins that have not been gone thru in that many years and being able to hold them all in your hands. I see those rolls too. Looks like a fun search. Enjoy

Interesting that there is no toning on the Morgans.

Neat... would love to find something like that. An acquaintance in Phoenix got one some years ago and when he was able to open it, found quite a stash of old silver coins....do not recall any of numismatic value though. Still, there was more in silver value than he paid for the safe. Cheers, RickO
