Received the two-coin SF ASE set yesterday.
And photographed these last week.

It's all about what the people want...
<< <i>I like that foster, did it carry a premium? >>
Dealer wanted $60. I ended up getting it for $45 as part of a deal that included a 10 ounce poured bar.

<< <i>Added to the pile my first Argor bar and a super nice old pour 5 oz Silvertowne >>
The 3-ounce Argot is my favorite bar (though I sold all the ones I had )
I was tempted by the poured SilverTowne, how is it on hand?
This particular one is probably the nicest one I've ever had. The reverse/bottom is kind of pitted, but that is to be expected of these, but other than that a very nice clean bar

Silvertowne has old poured 5 T oz bars for sale for $153.70 on their web site. I think they are still making the old poured bars in addition to their more modern struck bars to give buyers an option. Old poured bars have a certain charm that I like.
Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

Just as we were closing down in 2003, there seemed to be an uptick in interest in those old late 70's bars that were all over the place.
At $170 I wished he had more.

Well is that so, then I did pretty good on this one
I always thought the ones like I have are the older ones, the ones that say, .999 FS as opposed to .999 FINE. Am I mistaken, again? lol
Went to the Philly ANA show
2 Roll of ASE $1200.00
and a 1986 1/4 oz GAE $405.00
Paul
break as needed

I thought that too but it looks like Scottsdale Silver has a bunch of them on eBay and they sell for the same price of the others.
Though, I'd rather have your type.
Apmex sealed tube 2012 ASE's (20). Tube opened but all look clean and new.
Craigslist and some work to determine if they were silver dollars or ASE's over the phone.
