I like that foster, did it carry a premium?

It's all about what the people want...

Dealer wanted $60. I ended up getting it for $45 as part of a deal that included a 10 ounce poured bar.

The 3-ounce Argot is my favorite bar (though I sold all the ones I had image)
I was tempted by the poured SilverTowne, how is it on hand?

This particular one is probably the nicest one I've ever had. The reverse/bottom is kind of pitted, but that is to be expected of these, but other than that a very nice clean bar

Silvertowne has old poured 5 T oz bars for sale for $153.70 on their web site. I think they are still making the old poured bars in addition to their more modern struck bars to give buyers an option. Old poured bars have a certain charm that I like.

What is it with ...poured... bars?
Just as we were closing down in 2003, there seemed to be an uptick in interest in those old late 70's bars that were all over the place.

Today LCS pickup was a 1988 1/10th ounce AGE proof with box and COA.

At $170 I wished he had more.

Well is that so, then I did pretty good on this one image
I always thought the ones like I have are the older ones, the ones that say, .999 FS as opposed to .999 FINE. Am I mistaken, again? lol

I thought that too but it looks like Scottsdale Silver has a bunch of them on eBay and they sell for the same price of the others.
Though, I'd rather have your type.

$540 paid cash Sunday night picked up. ($27 each)

Apmex sealed tube 2012 ASE's (20). Tube opened but all look clean and new.

Craigslist and some work to determine if they were silver dollars or ASE's over the phone.
