In a way, this thread is telling on the hobby...first by how quickly high end unopened stuff is selling, especially football and baseball. But also the lack of interest in the hockey stuff tells me that's just not an in demand sport in the hobby nearly to the extent of the other 3

-The 96 hour mark is up at 9:00 PM EST tonight (Monday). I think we should be able to blow through most of the boxes. Steve has said it's OK if we don't sell out the 73/74 basketball or 84/85 OPC hockey as he will put the remaining packs in inventory. The 75/76 OPC hockey is the one looking like it may not sell out. If not, we will remove from the group break. Because we are doing the empty box break tonight, I would like to end the group rip will end tomorrow (Tuesday) at noon. You have to put the empty box you win in the comments section of the paypal transaction so Steve knows who is getting what.
-Speaking of the empty box raffle, I will start pulling #'s at 8:30 pm tonight. I will update the thread after each pull. I have a list of everyone on the list (it is now closed). I will post it later tonight. Here are the rules:
-Lets say there are 24 slots in a 80 Topps BB cello box. Lets say of the 12 people who got packs, only 5 of them replied they wanted to participate. Of those 5 people, they bought 10 tickets. I would put the numbers (based on what number is next to their name on the front page). I would put those 10 tickets in a hat and have my daughter pick the number. So if you bought 4 of the packs and there were 10 numbers in the hat, you would have a 40% chance of winning.
-I am going to take the 72/73 basketball box and Steve has already promised the 73/74 basketball box to someone else so those two are off the table.
There are 34 boxes and I believe 20-25 people signed up. So, once your name is pulled, I will eliminate you from the 1st round. Once everybody has gotten a box, I will put everyone back in the pot. So, some people will end up with more than one box. I will keep my name out until the 2nd round.
I will post the person name that won each box on the thread.
Some last points:
-Make sure you put the empty box title in the comments section of the payapl transaction (where you put your username and the packs you bought). -Let's get this sold out.
