look right at the cross in the middle of the image. what color is the moving dot? keep looking at the cross for 5-10 seconds
if you see the correct color then your retinas are working properly and you may continue detecting toners. if you don't, i hope you have a coin buddy to assist you

i like how that neon green gobbles up those fuchsia dots leaving only it
but now ask me to see numbers in a mess of dots and im told i'm color blind
us navy told me being a sparky was off the table
it is a green hue
simply happens from the light (photons) that are dissipating from the eye.
look at a bright light of some type from a window, flashlight, some other discernible shape and close then cover your eyes, you can still see the shape quite well.
maybe even be able to open/close your eyes several times and still see the original shape
ok. time to go find toners

See it now? It's looking right at you.
Google Search Renshaw's Cow. Samuel Renshaw used photographs such as this to train folks to actually "see" what they were looking at instead of what they thought they saw. The Cow photograph is a black and white underexposed piece and works quite well. Once you actually see the cow, you'll have difficulty seeing anything BUT the cow!
I first saw this picture back in the late 60's however, it was originally used to train soldiers to identify aircraft in a split second during WWII thereby determining if the aircraft was friend or foe.
