Anyone know why the mini base cards have the same book value as the regular issue Topps set?
I know 'price guides' are all but obsolete and demand determines the true price of cards, but since there was such a limited print run of the minis, I assumed they would book significantly higher than the regular set.
You'll see singles go for decent prices for the player and team collectors. The majority of collectors these days fall in those two categories. The full set will take some time to see an increase in price. What it's got going is lack of factory sets, lack of regular hobby/retail channels and a rather limited print run. It'll take some time but this is one set that will see an increase in the future. There hasn't been a similiarly released set since 1991.
I want to complete this set but need about 230 cards. I have a full list of what I need and also have about 125 duplicates. What's the best way to fill and or trade ? here or BST forum? Thanks, Joe

It seems mini mania supercedes thread rules of order as a number of us have completed sets by posting our want lists on this very string. Feel free to post your needs here as a few of us have several dupes, revisit this thread when we see bump, and will help where we can.
