BUYING Frank Gotch T229 Kopec Looking to BUY n332 1889 SF Hess cards and high grade cards from 19th century especially. "Once you have wrestled everything else in life is easy" Dan Gable
<< <i>The final price on the two Mayweather rookie cards didn't disappoint.
>>
but the fight sure did to the casual sports fan >>
I thought the fight was terrible. It is really amazing that these two men parleyed that fight into 400 million dollars or so.
Even though I don't watch it as much anymore. UFC is where it is at if you want to potentially see some real action.
On a side note. The Spurs and Clippers game was an amazing one and I loved watching the Derby. My cousin was there snapping pics and posting them to Facebook with her huge hat on.
The best part of the fight was the drunk Tom Brady interview.
I booked the Aria within an hour of the rumor of August 26 hitting Twitter. Got my good friend to do the same. Hotel prices about tripled within 12 hours of the official announcement.
Now just hoping to be able to buy a ticket to the fight instead of watching on PPV somewhere in Vegas.
I always rooted against him, but end of the day just cannot hate; dude was so damn good at his craft— and a shrewd self-promoter as well. If that is his key card I could see it selling for way more in time.
Floyd is one of the greatest fighters that ever stepped into a ring. A master of the sweet science, I'm surprised it took this long for his rookie card to reach that level.
His card peaked at a little over 2k when he fought Manny the last time. Then it settled back to the $700 ish range and with this recent surge in cards this copy sold for $1,500 and a BGS 9.5 went last night for a grand.

The Kayo boxing cards from the early 90's looked much nicer.

I definitely will be buying the Mayweather vs. McGregor fight!
I will too.
I also remember the Ali vs. the Asian wrestler match in the 70's that was awful. Easily the worst sporting event of all time.
Successful card BST transactions with cbcnow, brogurt, gstarling, Bravesfan 007, and rajah 424.

Any mega star cards are going up right now.
