I stated loading up my cart this morning with all sorts of junk until I looked at the total - it was getting up to around $300+ image.

Faster than spot dropping off a cliff I thought " to heck with all this useless junk". Delete. Delete. Delete.

Maybe some other day. Maybe in a few years off eBay, at a hugh discount over US Mint current prices.

Ditto. Last stuff I got from the US Mint was a set of the Jamestown 400th Anny coins that my wife bought for me.

Thanks for reporting. It's old guys wanting things that causes me to buy. A woman came into the shop the other day and said she was getting Prezzie Bucks for her dad who's in his 80's. She can't get them at the bank anymore.

I picked up uncirculated mint sets and I'm awaiting the Silver Proof sets.
  • Nothing. Down with NCLT. Up with genuine circulating medium of exchange.
  • I've been buying the roll set of the ATB quarters..will take about 20 years to assemble but it's a long cheap challenge.

    +3

In the old days I used to buy Proof sets from the mint, but I got some many sub par ones that I now go to my local dealer and buy them. He lets me assemble the best I can find (from the three holders).

In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
