It’s kind of like the joke about the highly a highly conceited woman:
She walks up to a guy and says, “Let’s talk about you … How do you think I look in my new dress?”
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
I think it is a gorgeous coin. And I don't consider this spam. Many members here have links to ebay or websites in their sig line. That is simply a convenience for some of us.
<< <i>Is that really a FH? I think Broadstruck posted some pics of one of his FH SLQ which had crazy details but that is a nice quarter you sold! >>
The 28-S head design is different as it's a mess since it has a large slot for a ear hole instead of a hole. The problem is that no author has ever discussed the full head issues on this date. So a huge percentage of full head designated examples seen in the marketplace have the details of the OP's coin or far less as the hairline terminates at the ear slot. A true full head is only available on both early die stage large and small mint mark varieties which has hair that continues below the ear hole as seen below. Although based on population reports this San Fransisco in FH seems quite common, finding a true full head is equally as tough as the 28-D.
To Err Is Human.... To Collect Err's Is Just Too Much Darn Tootin Fun!

I am confused Bill why you believe this to be spam, he is saying it was sold already. >>
Having sold this coin, which the seller views as something special for the grade, the seller is proclaiming, "See, I sold this very choice coin and there are more in my inventory. All you need to do is click on the ad I have in my footer to see more choice coins." It's an advertisement plain and simple. When I was an active dealer, I would have considered a post like this to have been in poor taste.

I thought it was well understand here that some dealers, vest pocket dealers, collectors, etc. are a member of these forums for the sole purpose of using these forums as their free version of Ebay, for free advertising of their product/services, as a place to post their entire inventories to the public for free........well you get the point.
You guys need to lighten up. Bottomline is that it's an exceptional SLQ not for sale. Plenty of forum members/dealers have made similar posts over the years.
