    We are updated through PROMETHIUS88. Here is what's still available:

    1983 Topps Wax Box - 1 box
    1984 Topps Wax Box - 4 boxes
    1985 Topps Wax Box - 7 boxes

    Who's ready to buy some boxes? I will e-mail Steve today and see if he is willing to bust the 85 Topps wax case if we haven't sold out.

    I ddin't want to have to do this, but for the sake of selling this out, I will add 1 1985 Topps baseball Wax Box to my suite of items purchased in this rip.

    Any idea what the shipping will be for 2 boxes and a handful of packs? I saw that it is $12 for 1 box but didn't see what is it for additional boxes plus packs.

    BBCE doesn't ship on weekends anyway, so these couple extra days here are not going to hold anything up.


    Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

    I bought a '72 cello and 2 '72 wax packs. Some sharp commons. Hits were a offcenter Fisk and a nice Bob Gibson.

    I bought a disappointing '78 vending box. No Murray, Ryan, Molitor, Reggie, Bench. And 90% off center.

    My enthusiasm for ripping has been curbed for a few months at least.

    I will take the last 83 Topps box. We now only have (5) boxes of 1985 Topps left.

    Let's get these last 5 sold out before 9 tonight and make it an even 80 boxes worth of product bought.

    For the others out there that bought 84 Topps boxes... I'm buying 3 to rip and put together a set! If my memory serves me correctly, and remembering building Topps sets back when I started collecting in the 80's... 3 boxes should yield me 1620 cards... but I still probably won't be able to put together a complete 792 card set! I'll be interested in trading if any of you will be ripping your box(es) as well!

    My son likes the look of the 84s and its one set he doesn't have much of, so yes he's going to rip it open. Please let us know what you're missing and if we can help I'm sure he'll be happy to.

    Payment can be made starting at 7:00 PM EST tonight. Steve has agreed to still sell the 85 topps boxes to everyone who wanted one even if we don't sell out.

    I appreciate everyone's patience with me trying to do my first box break. Honestly it has been a lot of fun.

    Now, let's sell out the last 5 boxes so I won't be tempted to buy anymore. image

    Did Steve provide shipping prices for boxes? By the looks of it, right now people have anything ranging from 1-5 boxes each (13 people have 1 box, 5 have 2 boxes, 9 have 3 boxes & 1 has 5 boxes). I've only done packs in group rips before, never boxes, so I don't have experience of how that is worked out when sending payment.

    Exactly! I picked up a box 85 Fleer during his last case break. It looked so good, I just couldn't bust it open.
