Perkdog,
If the All Star Game was for the best players on the field for the first half of the 2012 baseball season, then there's no question that Mike Napoli should NOT be an All Star (well, I haven't checked the stats of other catchers, but there has to be someone playing better then Nap). Napoli was a fan vote-in so his selection was not really based on this year's baseball merit. There are going to be several players taking part in the game, that wouldn't be there if it was based solely on this years on field performance, and he's one of them. To answer your question, no, his defense really isn't "that" good. He doesn't even play catcher full time. Yorvit plays catcher a lot, and Napoli frequently plays first base.
Looks like your having the kind of fantasy season out of Napoli that I'm having with Youkiilis. We both wasted roster spots on those guys, LOL.

Yea I wouldnt have even mentioned it but Napoli is killing me this year Thats why I was suprised to see him on the roster, but honestly I dont even follow it so either way congrats on having so many of your home town favorites on the squad
Too bad about Youk, he was a solid pick and I thought he would have a bounce back year.
Rangers just completed their 2nd in a row, walkoff win in extra innings to end the first portion of their regular season. Despite a dreadful last week, they finished at 52-34, and are 1/2 game back of the mighty New York Yankees (since the Red Sox dropped 3 of 4 against the Yanks this weekend) for home field advantage in the American League playoffs.
8 Rangers and the coaching staff will play for World Series home field advantage on Tuesday night. Go American League!
I think the Rangers and Twins thought they were struck by lightning literally tonight in the 4th inning. There was a huge thunderous blast , and the players headed for the hills. Looked like everyone in the park was momentarily shook up. The Twins runner on 1st looked like he dropped to all 4's, and the Twins first base coach looked like he was trying to hide behind the umpire. I've never seen Napoli move so fast as he darted toward cover in the dugout. If you get a chance, check it out later on ESPN, surely they'll show it.
After that wretched All Star Game, I'm ready for the season to start back up. Good luck to everyone that still has a team in contention. There's a lot of baseball left to enjoy
Go Rangers! I only ask for a one strike better season than last. That's a reasonable request I think
One of the things I like best about the Rangers, is that for the most part, they give the appearance of being fun loving, down to earth, guys who love what they are doing, rather than pretentious *ricks like some pro athletes can be. Every year, Park Place dealerships (they have some great cars by the way), hosts a fundraiser for the Texas Rangers Charitable Baseball Foundation, and this year they raised over $500,000 for charity. Just thought some might enjoy seeing a little rookie hazing from the event.
Harrison recovered from his All Star game debacle to hurl a shutout in the deciding game of the Seattle series today. Angels almost imploded against the Yankees today, but Aroid popped up to Pujols to end the potential choke job. Rangers stay 5 up on Angels, and move to 1/2 game behind the Yankees for AL home field advantage in the playoffs. Would have been a nice weekend for the Rangers, but Queen Felix finally got to them yesterday. The Rangers usually have no problem with his Royal Hind @zz but he finally got them yesterday. Rangers have 2 of the next 4 days off, and play the streaking A's the other two, then it's on to Anaheim for a weekend series against the Halos, and a chance to relegate the Halos to realistically playing for a wildcard only. I'll be satisfied if the Rangers return from the road trip right where they are now. They've struggled against the AL West this year and I believe are only 1 game above .500 against the West.
Rangers top scout was dispatched to watch Hamels pitch today. Rangers might be gearing up to make a run for another rent-a-pitcher like they did with Cliff Lee a couple years back. I don't really care if they get Hamels or not, as far as I'm concerned they can sign him and send him home, as I'm perfectly happy with their pitchers currently on the 40 man roster, but it would be nice to keep him away from other contenders. I guess you can't have too many arms.
<< <i>So bitter about getting dominated by one of the best pitchers in the game. Tisk tisk[/
Yep, LOL I've always thought (and still do) for the most part that Hernandez was one of the most overrated players in the game, because I only watch him when he happens to play Texas and they usually have little trouble with him.
I probably feel about him what most Mariner fans, that only watch Yu when he plays Seattle, feel about Yu. For some reason, Yu can't find the plate and gets roped when he plays against the M's. Just one of those anomalies I suppose
After learning that Colby Lewis is out for 2012, Scott Feldman of all people stepped up and delivered a decent performance. It's usually an adventure when he pitches, but he held the lethal Red Sox offense to only one run. Rangers picked up the victory. Another crapshoot tomorrow with Martin Perez toeing the mound.
With Lewis out for the count, AND Oswalt getting scratched tonight for injury, we'll see if Daniels will pull the trigger now and bring in an arm.
Bunch of nonsense. Game still going on so that might go either way, but IMO Rangers should get some retribution tomorrow. Irregardless if it was intentional or not, they should not let the Beltre beaning go without someone on the Red Sox paying a price.
Yes, I am advocating getting even. (doesn't need to be to the head, but should be several to one guy's ribs over and over tomorrow night. If Rangers pitchers get suspended a couple games, so be it) You have to protect your players!
The baseball gods are not being nice. Getting slaughtered by the Angels AND talk of getting Josh Beckett. Jon Daniels must have sold his soul to get to the last two World Series. For the love of everything decent on the planet, please don't bring in Beckett. Just dance with the ones that brung ya if that's the best you can get.
Well, Oswalt has been a total bust thus far. Guess it's on Dempster's shoulders now. Adding Ogando to the rotation will definitely help. Don't worry too much- my weak pussiecats are coming to town.....again.
<< <i>With Oakland now in the mix, the AL West is really getting interesting! I expect Oakland to drop off, though.

Yep, Oakland has actually been fun to watch. I've been eyeing some of their games on the IPAD. It will be fun watching them and LAA battle for the wildcards
Mike ... looks like the Rangers are going to continue to try to buy a pennant! Dempster should be a HUGE addition. Good Luck.
STAY HEALTHY!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
After a horrendous July, I'm happy that the Rangers are still tied for the best record in the American League. August has gotten off to an interesting start as the Rangers have given up 19 runs in the first two game, BUT they have won them both. Gotta be frustrating for LAA.
The Rangers newest pitcher, Dempster, got rocked. He apparently needs to learn that the guys in this league can hit, and that unlike over in the NL, you don't get a virtually free out 1 out of every 9 hitters. Hopefully his learning curve is short, as he is the 11th Texas starter this year, as the injury bug has been immune to the Rangers' cans of Raid. The Rangers need him to step up and perform.
On the flipside, it sure was nice to see them rock CJ Wilson. In 3 starts against his former team, Wilson is yet to get a win. Rangers on their way to KC now, hopefully they can do better then absorb the broom that the Royals put on their backsides earlier this year.
Rangers take 2 of 3 against KC this weekend, but there might be some trouble on the horizon. Roy Oswalt had thrown 2 scoreless innings in relief today and supposedly Wash wanted him to pitch a 3rd inning. Reportedly, Oswalt declined. It's been rumored here that he's been unhappy that Feldman got the starter role over him (despite Oswalt being ineffective for the most part so far, and Feldman getting 6 straight wins and being the Rangers only rock pitcher for the last month.) If it turns out that is the reason he wouldn't pitch today, then I hope the Rangers take quick and decisive action and cut out the cancer. We don't need a prima donna down here. Part of what's made the team fun the past few years is an apparent chemistry amongst the squad Oswalt can take his attitude and shove it if he doesn't want to be here. Bring back Martin Perez and send Roy packing. If it turns out that Roy was actually hurt or something, then go Roy, get better soon, LOL.
What an odd series, but the Rangers take 2 out of 3 and lower their magic number to 47. LAA now 7 games back which I believe is their largest deficit of the season Doesn't seem to be working out too well for them and all of their acquisitions. Time will tell. Oakland is 5.5 games back which is one game away from tying the Rangers biggest lead of the season. Repeat of last years ALCS as Detroit comes to town this weekend. Despite roarin84's dissatisfaction with the Tigers so far this year, I still have a lot of respect for them and hope that Texas can fend them off and win the series. It's not like when the Rangers play Boston and I fully expect them to win every game. I'll be happy if Texas emerges from this weekend with the same lead it has now. Personally, I'm looking forward to Saturdays game as the Rangers are having a celebration for their 40th anniversary all time team and some of the guys from my youth and teenage years should be in attendance. It will be cool to see them again and see if they've aged any better then I have. Hopefully Verlander will have an All Star game like performance
Rangers took care of business this weekend and took 2 of 3 against Detroit. Rangers have won all 3 series this year iagainst last years ALCS foe Detroit. Rangers begin a 4 game series against the Yankees tomorrow. If either team could sweep the other one, it could be a pivotal series in the battle for AL home field advantage in the playoffs. Currently, the Rangers are at a season high 21 games over .500 and lead the Yankees by 1/2 game for best record in the AL
The spirited A's are only 6.5 games back. They have been fun to watch the last 30 days or so on my Ipad. Despite the additions of Pujols, CJ Wilson, Greinke, and a stellar year from Trout, the Angels are 8 games back. This time last year they were only 2 games back. If nothing else, them getting Pujols will definitely keep him from facing the Rangers in the World Series this year. If the Angels don't get their act together soon, they will play themselves out of wildcard contention as well,
Magic number now 43. Go Rangers! Bring home the hardware this year, simply getting there isn't good enough anymore.
Dempster has been a bum so far. Getting rocked yet again. Maybe the Rangers can return him as "significantly not as described" and get their paypal back, LOL.
<< <i>Dempster has been a bum so far. Getting rocked yet again. Maybe the Rangers can return him as "significantly not as described" and get their paypal back, LOL. >>
I've always thought Dempster was having a fluke year in Chicago and a few recent outings have reinforced that.

I think there's a reason for his pre-AS break trip to the DL, and injury was not the reason. Our Sanchez trade has quite backfired too. If yr boy Hans Holland can keep his finger stuck in the dike, you should be alright. That boy was fierce on Saturday!!
<< <i>Dempster is a BUM! Rangers need to file SNAD claim >>
Now that's funny right there.

With the Rangers having a thoroughly disgusting road trip, I have to be happy that the magic number has fallen to 39. They managed to win today in Toronto although Dempster scratched for personal reasons (probably why they won) and "I'm a starter not a reliever" Oswalt was happy to jump in and take his place. Oswalt pitched well but did not pick up the W as Wash yanked him with 2 outs in the 5th. Hopefully that doesn't cause an issue with Oswalt's ego. If he will throw like he did today, he could be a good contributor for this team
Happened to pick up the 5th inning of the Angels/Rays tonight and got the joy of seeing CJ blow an opportunity for his first win since June. He was winning 8 to 0 and gave up 7 runs in the fifth and got yanked before he could complete 5. Angels might hang on to win, but it was fun seeing that happen to CJ. He is one of only 2 ex Rangers that I can't stand (the other being AROD)
I think Dempster is pitching Monday so if you come out to the ballpark and sit in the outfield, then make sure you bring your glove or a hard hat,
Rangers win the series against Toronto today. Magic number down to 38
Time to start watching the A's more on my IPad instead of the Angels. A's continue to be impressive and have run off another 4 in a row. They seem to have the attitude that the Rangers had a couple years ago that they don't seem to realize they aren't supposed to be decent and they don't seem to feel pressure but rather they have fun. Polar opposites of the halos and fun to watch just like Texas but with a little less talent. Should be a fun last 42 games. Good luck A's fans, I hope y'all snag one of the wildcards
Hey Mike, I didn't see many comments from you about the Rangers' trip to Yankee Stadium. I thought you might have changed the lyrics to Meatloaf's song and started singing "one out of four ain't bad!"
<< <i>Hey Mike, I didn't see many comments from you about the Rangers' trip to Yankee Stadium. I thought you might have changed the lyrics to Meatloaf's song and started singing "one out of four ain't bad!" >>
Quite frankly, the Yankees kicked the Rangers behind right out of NY, and of all teams in MLB, I don't like to give the Yankees ANY credit.
Would be nice to meet them in the playoffs this year. It means a little bit more inside to beat them to advance in the playoffs, and if they happen to beat your team in the playoffs, it's basically kind of accepted as supposed to happen so it's no great stigma, LOL.
I give the Yankees franchise their due as the greatest franchise in the history of baseball by far, but I still don't like them
Since I was ragging on him last week, I'll be bragging on him this week. 8 solid innings of one run baseball. I'll take that every time (as long as Rangers score more than one). Rangers improve to 9 and 1 against the Birds this year, and tie their season high of 21 games over .500. Maven and I will be at the game tomorrow as they try to reach 22 over for the first time this season. Magic number down to 37 and counting, pending the A's game tonight
Nice job Dempster. The Rangers need you to pitch like that
Been a good week so far. Rangers still 6 up on the A's and rolling right along. Beltre is having a good week. 3 homers a few nights ago and he hit for the cycle tonight. Might be a candidate for AL player of the week. Michael Young is out on maternity leave. Don't hurry back Michael, take your full FMLA leave time!!
Rangers at season high of 23 games over .500 and once again holding the home field advantage slot over the Yankees with the best record in the AL
Magic number down to 32
On a side note, the Angels are doing everything they can to fend off the Mariners in the battle for 3rd in the West Mariners matching them though stride for stride for the most part. Go Mariners Go!
Dempster had another nice outing yesterday. Was just against the Twins, but maybe he will pan out after all I think of all the potential opponents in the World Series this year, I'd like to see them play the Reds. I would love to see Josh, Nellie, Beltre and friends get ahold of a 106 MPH fastball. If they hit it, they'll knock the thing 550 feet! Would be fun to see.
Rangers beat the Rays and their ace David Price tonight. Price is kind of in the same club as Queen Felix when it comes to pitching against the Rangers. He is 1 and 7 lifetime in 11 career starts against them. Another one of those odd statistical anomalies I guess. He must be a decent pitcher as he was 16 and 4 till tonight and usually highly hyped before every time the Rangers play them. Who knows?
Nice to see Darvish throw 7 strong innings of shutout ball, and like usual, Adams and Nathan took care of business. Kinsler provided all the ammo they needed with a homer off of James Shields. Rangers wrap up a series victory against Tampa Bay. Would be nice to get a sweep tomorrow, but we'll see what's in the cards tomorrow night. Rangers now at a season high of 25 games over .500. Can't seem to shake those pesky A's, but the flip side of that is the A's can't seem to make up any ground on Texas despite being red hot themselves.
I think Texas has actually done the A's a favor the last two games by downing TB and helping the A's in the wildcard chase.
Dempster does another fine job and Rangers roll along again. Koji made it interesting in the ninth but Nathan sealed the deal like usual. Rangers will head into September with a 4.0 game lead over the A's and a 3 game lead over the Yankees for home field advantage during the AL playoffs. Despite the A's thrashing the incompetent Sox tonight, another game ticks off the magic number. 28 and counting
Rangers keep on winning series as they downed Cleveland today to go to 25 over .500. Current lead is 3.5 games over Oakland but that will probably be down to 3 in an hour or so as the A's are playing the single A Red Sox this weekend. 2 out of the Rangers' last 3 series of the year are against Oakland so if no one else can beat the A's, at least the Rangers will get the opportunity to take care of their own business.
Highly touted prospect Jurickson Profar saw his first major league action today. He became the first Texas Ranger in team history to homer in his first plate appearance. Maybe he can put a litle extra step in Elvis' and Ian's performances if they wonder if he might take their spot. A little competition wouldn't hurt at this point
Yanks lost and once again fall to 3 games behind the Rangers for home field advantage
Yu Darvish turned in another nice outing and the Rangers downed the Royals today. Rangers are now at a new season high of 26 games over .500.
Rangers also picked up a game on both the A's and the Yankees. The lead on both is now 4.
CJ Wilson won as many games today as he did in six post season series for Texas. Way to go CJ, thanks for beating the A's today. hopefully your buddy Greinke can do the same thing tomorrow.
Dempster helped insure that the Rangers won't do worse than .500 this year by helping them notch win number 81 today. Rangers stay 4 up on the NY Yankees, and move to 5 up on the A's due to LAA stepping up and putting the broom to the A's. A tip of the hat to LAA is in order!
I think LAA is at their high water mark of the season in games above .500. Will it be too little, too late? Only time will tell. Was disheartened to see Baltimore fall a game back from NYY. Sure would be nice to see NYY fall totally out of the post season party
Rangers magic number down to 22. They have now maintained sole possession of first place for the past 150 days. I think I'm going to go ahead and order tix for the Arlington Oak and LAA games that I don't already have during the last week of the season and hopefully I'll get to see the Rangers clinch in person
Rangers win again and are at a season high 28 games over .500. Magic number down to 18. I just got home from game and found out that tonight's win might be a huge loss. During the game, I was wondering why Wash was taking out regulars and playing musical positions. Sometimes he manages what I would term a little "differently" so I didn't put too much into why. However, I've since learned that Beltre, Hamilton, and Olt all left because of injuries. MRI for Beltre tomorrow. Olt is very much expendable, but Josh and Adrian are not.
Despite the A's going 7 and 3 the last 10 games, they haven't gained any ground on Texas. Rangers also have been 7 and 3 the last 10. Fun race to watch. A's are pushing the Rangers hard for home field advantage and the division title, but Rangers are answering every bell so far and landing plenty of shots themselves. Will be nice to get ahold of the A's in a few games to put an end to their division dreams (but admittedly, we need Josh and Beltre to make sure that happens. If they are out, it's up for grabs.)
When I left to play indoor soccer tonight, the Rangers were cruising and winning 2 to 0. When I got back to the car after soccer , I found out they imploded and lost to the Indians in the ninth. A harsh reminder that every opponent on the schedule is a big league team. Magic number ticked down to 17 today though, as the A's couldn't even score a run against LAA. Rangers waste a golden chance to pick up another game. Oh well, there's always tomorrow, better for Nathan to pull that nonsense tonight then in the playoffs
Kudos to the A's for continuing to make it fun. What an impressive run they are on. However, the Rangers aren't stepping aside either. Rangers yield no ground again this weekend. Rangers take two of 3 from Seattle despite a Saturday night debacle. Magic number still dropping and is now at 14 to win the division. If I've got it figured correctly, Rangers magic number to wrap up a playoff berth is 10. It sucks for whoever loses between Texas and Oakland, cause one of the top 2 teams in the AL is going to be playing in the wildcard one game playoff. As Washington says, "That's the way baseball go".
Despite succumbing to the Mariners tonight, it's been a good week for the Rangers. They won yet another series, this time against LAA, and put a serious hurt into the Halos chances. Was especially pleasing to see them beat CJ Wilson again. Meanwhile, the A's have started to play like mortals again, and it's a bad time of the season for them to do that if you are an Athletic supporter.
I haven't decided who to root for this weekend between the Yanks and A's as the Rangers have a four game lead on Oak but only a two game lead on the Yanks for home field advantage. Probably better to root for the A's the next couple of games as the Rangers will have an opportunity to take care of Oak themselves over 7 of the last 10 games beginning Monday. None of it really matters if the Rangers just take care of their own business. Between Beltre's intestines and Hamilton's sinuses (you gotta be freaking kidding me, seems he ALWAYS turns up with maladies around playoff time, I for one hope the Rangers don't overpay for him during free agency. If someone will pay him more then hasta la vista Josh) it could be an interesting week
Magic number is 9 to win the division and I believe 5 to clinch a playoff berth
Rangers cant even score against Seattle. Pathetic, pathetic, pathetic. A's choke against Yanks and blow a 4 run extra inning lead and lose on an error. Magic number down to 8.
Rangers still lead NY by one game for homefield. Yanks basically have byes the rest of the way after tomorrow, but that's not their fault, they can only play the games on their schedule and every team IS a big league team. (except for maybe Boston)
Shaping up to be a fun to watch final week and a half. Gotta love 162 game seasons that STILL aren't settled yet. Baseball has done well I think in having expanded playoffs to give more teams a chance, but the one game wildcard playoff is Mickey Mouse in my opinion, as is the best of 5 first round,
Showtime for the Rangers and A's beginning tomorrow night in Arlington
Good luck to fans of all the teams that still have a chance (even Yankees and Halos fans). It's not you I dislike, it's just your teams. 6 months of baseball coming down to the final 10 days of the season. Gotta love it!
Just got home from the game. Was also at Tuesday nights choke job and Wednesday nights (unti I got ticked and left, LOL) debacle. Was a fun, exhilarating week. After all that, the series was split. Props to the A's fans as your team is a helluva squad. I'm not looking forward to the Rangers potentially meeting them in the ALDS. Would much rather play NY, Chicago, Baltimore. Really prefer not to play the Tigers either in a short series. First things first though, Rangers still have not clinched. Magic number down to 3 and blood pressure down from last night as well.
Number to eliminate LAA from any chance of winning the division, down to 1, which is I believe, also the magic number for the Rangers to guarantee at least a wild card spot for themselves
Sure would like to celebrate a division title Saturday or Sunday night, but will have to wait and see
Gotta say, this year's AL West has been a ride. We could possibly see (3) 90 game winners in the same division this season...and not have all three go to the post season.
Oakland scares me with how good they've been playing - especially with the low payroll they've got at just under 50 million (lowest in MLB). Moneyball 2...?
This weekend has been a laugher so far, Rangers doing their best Red Sox imitation. Will any of them step up and apply the Heimlich the next three games against the A's? Got a feeling they are headed for a one game playoff Thursday against the A's where the winner takes the division. Rookie Martin Perez taking the mound tomorrow against Oakland, LOL, that should be entertaining

In 3 starts against his former team, Wilson is yet to get a
win. Rangers on their way to KC now, hopefully they can do better then absorb the broom that the Royals put on their backsides earlier this year.

Currently at 50 if I've calculated right
Mike

<< <i>Dempster has been a bum so far. Getting rocked yet again. Maybe the Rangers can return him as "significantly not as described" and get their paypal back, LOL. >>
I've always thought Dempster was having a fluke year in Chicago and a few recent outings have reinforced that.

<< <i>Dempster is a BUM! Rangers need to file SNAD claim >>
Now that's funny right there.
I think Dempster is pitching Monday so if you come out to the ballpark and sit in the outfield, then make sure you bring your glove or a hard hat,
Mike
Time to start watching the A's more on my IPad instead of the Angels. A's continue to be impressive and have run off another 4 in a row. They seem to have the attitude that the Rangers had a couple years ago that they don't seem to realize they aren't supposed to be decent and they don't seem to feel pressure but rather they have fun. Polar opposites of the halos and fun to watch just like Texas but with a little less talent. Should be a fun last 42 games. Good luck A's fans, I hope y'all snag one of the wildcards

I give the Yankees franchise their due as the greatest franchise in the history of baseball by far, but I still don't like them
Mike
Nice job Dempster. The Rangers need you to pitch like that
Rangers at season high of 23 games over .500 and once again holding the home field advantage slot over the Yankees with the best record in the AL
Magic number down to 32
On a side note, the Angels are doing everything they can to fend off the Mariners in the battle for 3rd in the West Mariners matching them though stride for stride for the most part. Go Mariners Go!
Go Rangers! Go Reds!
Magic number down to 30
I think Texas has actually done the A's a favor the last two games by downing TB and helping the A's in the wildcard chase.
Magic number down to 29.
Mike
Highly touted prospect Jurickson Profar saw his first major league action today. He became the first Texas Ranger in team history to homer in his first plate appearance. Maybe he can put a litle extra step in Elvis' and Ian's performances if they wonder if he might take their spot. A little competition wouldn't hurt at this point
Yanks lost and once again fall to 3 games behind the Rangers for home field advantage
Mike
Rangers also picked up a game on both the A's and the Yankees. The lead on both is now 4.
CJ Wilson won as many games today as he did in six post season series for Texas. Way to go CJ, thanks for beating the A's today. hopefully your buddy Greinke can do the same thing tomorrow.
Magic number is 25 and counting.
Mike
Despite the A's going 7 and 3 the last 10 games, they haven't gained any ground on Texas. Rangers also have been 7 and 3 the last 10. Fun race to watch. A's are pushing the Rangers hard for home field advantage and the division title, but Rangers are answering every bell so far and landing plenty of shots themselves. Will be nice to get ahold of the A's in a few games to put an end to their division dreams (but admittedly, we need Josh and Beltre to make sure that happens. If they are out, it's up for grabs.)
Mike
Mike
A's choke against Yanks and blow a 4 run extra inning lead and lose on an error. Magic number down to 8.
Rangers still lead NY by one game for homefield. Yanks basically have byes the rest of the way after tomorrow, but that's not their fault, they can only play the games on their schedule and every team IS a big league team. (except for maybe Boston)
Shaping up to be a fun to watch final week and a half. Gotta love 162 game seasons that STILL aren't settled yet. Baseball has done well I think in having expanded playoffs to give more teams a chance, but the one game wildcard playoff is Mickey Mouse in my opinion, as is the best of 5 first round,
Good luck to fans of all the teams that still have a chance (even Yankees and Halos fans). It's not you I dislike, it's just your teams. 6 months of baseball coming down to the final 10 days of the season. Gotta love it!
Number to eliminate LAA from any chance of winning the division, down to 1, which is I believe, also the magic number for the Rangers to guarantee at least a wild card spot for themselves
Sure would like to celebrate a division title Saturday or Sunday night, but will have to wait and see
Mike
Good luck to your Rangers.
