The promotional photo of the Cartwrights is nice, but it is missing a regular character from the cast of Bonanza and the Ponderosa. Namely housekeeper / cook Hop Sing. I don't recall the actor's given name, but I insist that you at least consider giving some acknowledgement of his contribution to the story. That could be accomplished by including a Chopmarked Carson City Trade Dollar, if there actually are any available in OGH.

I have included a photo of Hop Sing, the Cartwright family's beloved cook. For the record, Hop Sing was played by U.S.-born actor Victor Sen Yung.
<< <i>Does anyone know if any episodes of "Bonanza" showed actual coins?
There are at least two episodes of a rival western "Gunsmoke" which had coins, they are on my website under "Coins on Television".

That's an interesting question. I do remember one episode where some bad guys were plotting to rob the Carson City Mint. Carson City was very close to one of the borders of the fictional Ponderosa Ranch.
The Type Set has been updated with photos taken by Todd (BluCC Photos) at the recent FUN Show -- see the opening post for the most recent photo gallery.
Very cool set, of note there is no such thing as a chop mark OGH, PCGS didn't start holdering Chop Marks until early in the Blue generation ( the type with the series noted). Other than that, I have seen maybe 5-6 OGH CC trade coins in the past decade but most didn't hve the type of skin you are looking for. GL and really nice set

I had wondered if there was such a thing as a chop marked CC Trade Dollar in an OGH. Thanks for the info.
