Just bought my first silver bar(old poured type)---dont know if i am using the right terminology and it arrived yesterday and I love it! The back of the silver bar is like 70 black from probably sitting on some kind of paper with sulfur in it. First question is .>> Is it acceptable to clean the old poured silver bar ? Second question if it is...what is the acceptable way of cleaning the back just to remove the black thingy? Just wanted to get your opinion and I thank you in advance.
