Wow.. So the oval office stuff was 1400 for just 1 pack? What's the biggest hit you could get? Is tere a Washington or Lincoln auto?

Yes the Washington/Lincoln was the big hit along with Obama/Mandela.

I think I did pretty good and will make money off these two. The other pack comes today.

Ok....I'll ask the dumb question.....these come already in BGS slabs? Or is this after the fact?

President Ulysses S. Grant and Colfax, 46 and 45 respectively at the time of their inauguration, were the youngest Presidential team until the inauguration of Bill Clinton and Al Gore in 1993.
    STAY HEALTHY!

They come already in BGS slabs. At $1400 a pack there is a big risk.

I think I did pretty well.

Gonna list the Clinton's Dual auto at $3,500 BO
and the Grant/Colfax at $4,500 BO

    Will keep you posted...

    Mike

    The Colfax/Grant looks INCREDIBLE.
    Amazing autos for both.

You would think for $1400 they could get a better sig of Bill Clinton. I mean
it's not like there aren't a bunch out there that they could've picked from.

I would love to own the Grant card.

The Clinton not so much. Just because of the poor auto.

    Good luck w/ the sales.

So for $1400 what are some of the worst hits that you could get? Anything that is probably only like a $100 hit?
  • Options
Some of the president's auto's only go for around $500 or so. So you could lose your shirt, or child.... kidding, but yeah some of the more common presidents auto's would hurt you.

Clinton, Bush, John Tyler, Warren Harden, Rutherford Hayes, Millard Fillmore, etc. You'd be lucky to get half your money back on the pack/box.

What do you figure this would sell for on eBay?

There is one on Ebay with a starting bid of $999, and a BIN of $1,500.

    The title listing is terrible.

I would think this is a $800-$1200 card.

Awesome Grant /Colfax . My luck I would get Jimmy Carter and Walter Mondale, which probably be the cheapest. George H.W. / Dan Quayle also has to suck. Slick Willie/ Hillary is a decent one as well. Clinton and George W. Bush are Super Tough signatures. George H.W. Bush and Carter are cheap. George Washington would be something. $1,400 is steep, but it has to be a rush. Was is it a rush? It is like 3 Packs of Exquisite Collection. I would rather have one of those than 3 exquisite collection. I watched guy break 5 of them and only did well in one, he got a Jordan redemption. Still Jordan is no U.S. Grant.

Finally just opened my box from BBCE from the 1979 Topps Hockey Box break. I am so trusting of BBCE, I'll leave boxes unopened for weeks. lol

I have a good feeling there is a Gretzky inside of one of these 7 packs. I will post them in order. I will stop ripping once and if a Gretzky is found. Now I will grab some card savers and some Red...

    Scans to come...

I told you the Gretzky would be centered based on all the cards that I received and saw from this rip. Centered enough to be a 9 with great corners. Cant tell if the surface is clean or it's the scanner.

    Nice find.
