How about a silver dollar give away.. **Winner**

**WINNER** MsMorisine was the first to guess the plant name, it is indeed Nepenthes Atlata. One of many species of tropical pitcher plants found mainly in tropical asia. Now for the coin. Numisme is the first post to have a coin with a carnivorous plant on it, however he edited to the post after MsMorisine posted the square coin. (I'm assuming that square coin you posted is legal tender somewhere) The heck with it, it's only a silver half, and as far as I know there are only 3 coins with carnivorous plants on them. So all 3 of you shall recieve a silver half. PM me your addresses, and I will ship them out.
]Havn't done one in awhile.
The first person to guess the genus and species of this plant (another hobby of mine) that has hung in my bathroom window for last 6 years will win a circulated Peace dollar.
As a bonus, if you can find a coin and post it with a plant that shares the interesting characteristic that this plant has it will get you a 90% silver half.
Good luck, the contest will run until tomorrow evening.
Here is the plant.

The large size cents of George V and earlier had a pictcher plant wreath! Very Strange!

That's exactly what I was thinking....you beat me to it.
Species: Nepenthes kampotiana
No idea if it's smart, though...
Many members on this forum that now it cannot fit in my signature. Please ask for entire list.
Sarracenia purpurea L.
edited to add the 1943 Newfoundland cent.
Thanks for the chance.
Can somebody post a large cent with the wreath?
The Canadian $350 piece just doesn't look right to me. It is too limp, wiggely or wilted to my eye. It reminds of the USA Jack-in-the pulpit postage stamp which was also way too wilted or limp.
Good on you, R&C, and I salute your green thumb as well.
Only thing I've ever had any luck with is Christmas cactus- it would seem I have a black thumb. But I bought some green onions in the grocery store recently to cook with my pasta, and instead of throwing away the root ends, I stuck 'em in a flowerpot on the back porch and they regrew, giving me a second harvest, so I'm proud of that and maybe there's horticultural hope for me after all.
