Somebody on my old dealer network posted this:
"Need some help. A customer brought in 20 Silver Panda coins but
they are 1/10 oz. Did China ever make a 1/10 oz. silver? They
are dated 1988 but I cannot find them listed anywhere. They
look like the real coin but, anything China, its best to be
suspicious. Anyone heard of these?"
I am not familiar with these. Can anybody enlighten me so that I can pass on information to him ?
Thanks,
TD

There are 1/4 oz silver pandas from the 25th anniversary set.
<< <i>I think I may have seen some in the past...They are bullion rounds in the image of a Panda, produced by private Mints. Can't be certain though.

There were no 1oz silver pandas from '88, but there was a 5oz and a 12oz I believe.
That's correct. I should know that being that I have a set.
