In general, I've found the BST to actually be kinda slow.
I agree with Goldeneyenumismatics though, generally, the BST is a bit slow, but I still post there anyways since there are no fees. IMO, it's well worth the patience if I don't need the money right away.

<< <i>When you sell something that quickly, do you ever wonder if you priced it too cheaply? >>
It's hit or miss. But I generally have goo luck.
<< <i>That wasn't a sale...but a give away. Selling 90% silver at melt.
Can you get melt for 90 on the BST ? ......
Put a WTB ad up and had that locked in about an hour or so.

Only way to find out is..."try it," but make sure you offer free shipping just like the OP did and throw in a 64 Kennedy proof, along with a Trade dollar, Morgan & Peace dollars and a variety of silver dimes and quarters.
I have completed positive sales and purchses from the following members:
jclovescoins, dpoole, dmarks, guysmiling, Ducky1100 , piecesofme, ericj96 ,Classof67, ModernCoin, MrOrganic, 53BKid, nychad10, GUINZO1975, derryb (3 times), PinkFloyd
May have sold something else quicker, but it wasn't an "expensive coin" like that dollar.
Funny thing is, I believe the next day spot ended up below what I sold it for...course later it went up a lot more!

Why do you think I sold these too cheaply?
I thought it was a very fair deal!!

Well that answers my question.
I guess it was wrong of me to offer a deal to someone
