Hey man, what's up with these Star Wars coins ??
.999 Silver.
I think they are kind of cool. Nothing gets to say Star Wars unless the big guy himself says it's ok.
If they weren't .999 Silver, i'd say no way, but .999 makes it interesting.

They are selling in the $400+ range

Actually they can be quite nice. In addition to the really beautiful Power of the Force coins made by Kenner back in 1984 (aluminum freebies affixed to backer cards), there have been a few nice SW coins as well. Check out this gem from the Pobjoy mint a few years back. It's 9kt and supposedly limited to 30 pieces:
