FUN Quick Take 2012

A quick report or my Three cents. 1st FUN IMHO is the #1 show and not taking anything away from ANA but the added consistency of a super location tips the scale. 2nd this year show was good but not fantastic for dealers As reported by other dealers super cool coins were not around. In my area I was only able to buy two cool deals and 2 additional pieces and yet I sold 15 pcs right away. Other cool items that I bought were also snapped right up by super sharp dealers and collectors. 3rd. Auctions do have the coins but if you don't show restraint then even though you got it you probably overpaid. I'm talking coins that are common. Show had good crowds even today Sun which is usually a ghost town. 5th even the convention food was fairl edible. Last observation we gave away a lot of candy and the Vote For Laura buttons are very hot. Several button collectors asked me to see if I could get them one. Hmmm maybe I should sell em on eBay. LOL. We saw lots of board members and had a great time with several trime collectors. Leaving on plane so bye for now

I give away money. I collect money.
I don’t love money . I do love the Lord God.
Thanks for the report
It's always great to get a dealers perspective on a show.
