NEWP JM London assay office 14.25 oz. bar

Just purchased a Johnson Matthey silver bar today I've never seen before. it is a 14.25 oz. bar that says Johnson Matthey London in a circle on top with Johnson Matthey assay office in a circle on the bottom, in between is the weight along with JM 82224. Anyone else have a bar like this???

I also got the bar for spot which was $29.40 at the time of purchase.

Have you ever heard of an odd weight like this from JM or Engelhard? at first when I spotted it I thought it was a 500 gram or half Kilo bar.

These are sold from time to time on ebay. If I am correct, they also come in a wooden box, pretty neat

I have never heard of a 14.25 oz JM bar. The size does not make sense to me as it is not a convenient fraction of a kilogram.

Whatever it looks like buying at spot is a real coup.

If I'm correct there is also a engelhard version in this size.

Perhaps it is something for the southern Asia trade? I know they have regional-specific weights for gold, such as taels.
Just a guess.
