Thanks to a forum member I'm really happy to add this to my collection as a type coin. File under "Thanks 25th Anniversary proceeds!" image

I've browsed for several months, checked plenty of archives and feel pretty comfortable on the standout qualities of this one for the grade.

    Also my favorite date. It's the only affordable U.S. gold coin from the last decade of classic U.S. gold coinage.

    A very nice $10 Indian, has nice radiant luster and fairly mark free surfaces plus the CAC sticker.

    These coins IMHO are the nicest looking coins produced by the mint with the exception of the high relief Saints.

    Whats not to like? I miss my gold type set that I sold for Trade dollar money but alas if I didn't sell when I did I wasn't going to miss the run up in gold prices.

    i saw a '32 in pcgs ms-65 and let me tell you...your coin is much nicer. this one i saw had copper spots all over it. yours has great color and looks like it has fantastic luster. and you used the 25th anniversary set money to get it? nice work!!

    Congratulations! You did not show us the reverse, but the obverse is very high end for an MS-63+ graded coin.

    The 1932 eagle is a common coin, but many of the examples I have seen in slabs have been over graded IMO. Your piece is an exception. I remember years ago going through a case full of 1926 and 1932 certified eagles that was offered by a major dealer. Every one of them fell short of my standards for the grade that appeared in the slabs.
    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

    I think what I like most about it compared to many others is that there is very minimal chatter in the fields, just a few marks here and there...

    Would have thought the coin was too nice for a 63 and maybe a bit short of 64.....so when I saw the 63+ grade that worked out.

    It's not that hard to find solid 63 examples in holders. And even if you have PQ examples you probably can't get a premium for them unless they are
    resubmitted and earn a plus.
