I noticed on another thread about toned dollars that they give them names.

    Looks like she is barfing. Cool color but an example of a detrimental distraction that really effects the overall eye appeal of the coin.

    Reverse looks 64 but obverse looks 63 at best.

    The coin's color probably looks much nicer in hand than these dullish photos suggest, the "barfing" comments not withstanding.

    Probably got a slight bump for color to compensate for some of the obv scuffs/scrapes....but I don't have any issues with it.
    It's not like you're going to find a solid for the grade, technical NGC MS64 looking like this for $75.

    Wow, I'm shocked at all the negative comments. Usually an ugly toned coin gets nothing but positive comments about what a "monster" it is.

    I guess it depends on who's coin it is.

    I have yet to see an AT coin with toning like that.
    I like it a lot, I don't think the splotches cause it to be worse albeit I agree it got a bump for color.

    I'm neutral about the coin. Compared to the "toilet bowl" toning I've seen on over 20 MS 65 Barber Halves (I better not provide too much info on this), I don't think the toning on this coin is all that bad. However, I wouldn't pay a premium for the coin.
