<< <i>Today's selection is an 1842-O $10 in PCGS/CAC XF-45, which is a better date in the No Motto Liberty $10 series. The mintage is 27,400, and the total PCGS population in all grades is 129 coins. The PCGS price guide lists this coin at $2250. The last XF-45 to sell at auction was an NGC (non-CAC) that sold for $2000. This coin is available for $1750, delivered.

Great looking low mintage N/M-O for the grade! ThumbsUp;

can I get 17 easy payments of $100 for that and a balloon of 50 for the last ?
Thank you all for your interest in my coins. I am going to suspend the DDDD for the holiday season and get back to it after FUN. I have quite a few interesting, original, better date gold coins that I still would like to sell from my collection. I have acquired too many coins over the years!
2008, home against the Chargers where every bookie in America was interested in the fumble returned for a TD that happened but didn't count and therefore messed up the spread? MJ
Walker Proof Digital Album Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

While the points did not count, he sealed the game with that extremely athletic play. I am not sure why it would be a point for ridicule. I will post a video of my favorite Polamalu play and the one from which the photo originated tomorrow.
I will be adding a few selections over the next couple days, including a very dirty Dahlonega half eagle and a gold coin with a gold sticker.
First up is this extremely original 1881-CC $10, PCGS XF-40 OGH/CAC, $SOLD (see terms in first post) The coin was recently photographed by messydesk, and the coin and photo are just the way I like them:
"My friends who see my collection sometimes ask what something costs. I tell them and they are in awe at my stupidity." (Baccaruda, 12/03).I find it hard to believe that he (Trump) rushed to some hotel to meet girls of loose morals, although ours are undoubtedly the best in the world. (Putin 1/17) Gone but not forgotten. IGWT, Speedy, Bear, BigE, HokieFore, John Burns, Russ, TahoeDale, Dahlonega, Astrorat, Stewart Blay, Oldhoopster, Broadstruck, Ricko, Big Moose.
There is a forum member who PMed me last night that does not appear to have his PM turned on. His name starts with a B, and I ask him to turn on his PM or email me at ryk@blackandgoldcoins.com.
Also, Doug Winter will be offering a group of 12 coins that were previously in my collection, that range in price from just over $1000--all are PCGS, and most are CAC. I no longer have an ownership interest in these, but I would like to see them in forum member hands. PM for more info. They will start appearing on his site on Monday.
Interesting specimen up tonight. It is a common No Motto half eagle with a very uncommon appearance. It is mid-grade (VF) with extreme weakness in the strike of the stars such that on first glance it looks like it has no stars, almost like a pattern. I have two coins that have this very similar appearance, and I am selling one. It is an uber-original 1844-O $5 PCGS VF-25. (It has not been sent to NJ.) $SOLD, delivered.
Edit: Well, that was a PR--less than two mins to sell.
Only Daniel Carr markets better then you and you are closing the gap
It also helps to have really neat stuff......
Congrat's! MJ

PCGS just bumped the Price Guide to $2950, for those who might be interested. An obviously cleaned non-CAC PCGS 40 just sold for north of $3000 at Heritage last month.Link My coin is a cheaper and nicer alternative of this better Civil War date.
Need to sell some coins from the collection, so I can buy some new ones.
I expect to be listing some for the next few days, one per day. Type coins, southern gold, CAC gold, OGH, etc. Terms are in the OP. I have had many, many, many BST transactions over the last ten years with at least 50 different people and numerous numismatic references outside this forum.
Here we go...
1911-S $20 PCGS "Doily" MS-62 CAC, $SOLD. ("Buy the coin, AND the holder")
(image of slab taken before the coin was CAC approved)
1841-C $5: A duplicate, previously resided in a complete Charlotte $5 collection, with an extremely original appearance.
Photos from CoinFacts and the seller (DWN):
1890-CC $20: Another duplicate, delightfully DOGgy, ideal for someone who cherishes history and filth (pardon the RYKrapView photos)
Only a few left as PMs kept me busy selling and trading stuff.
This is a very dirty 1860 $20 in PCGS/OGH XF-40 CAC. The problem is that the holder has crumbled a bit in the left lower corner. I did not realize this when I purchased it and personally do not care because I really have enjoyed the coin. If you are the type of person that wants a pristine holder, this is not for you. I was considering the reconsideration service for this coin as I feel that it is a lock 45, but I thought I might offer it here first for $HOLD, for someone who appreciates extreme originality.
(the CAC sticker was awarded after the slab shot was taken)
Some folks may be paring down , in anticipation of whats coming . I know I did a little.
Didn't mean to hijack ryks thread, although Im sure he appreciated the bump. My above comments have nothing to do with market conditions, I was merely thinking about potential collections coming up soon that some folks like myself who don't have unlimited funds , would like to have a few extra dollars in order to compete , such as saddle ridge, gene gardner and others

Thanks again, and Happy Holidays to all.
Happy Holidays to you, and will be watching for the 2012 version.
Another smooth forum transaction.
Thanks RYK.
Too bad it is in NGC or else ankur might have been all over it
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
Edit: What fumble?
Or, better yet, guess the play, location, and significance of the photo...for $150 off.

Too many coins and want to get closer to The Number. I thought I should pare down to my favorite 80 coins (four boxes) or so.
I would like to help you get to that number… send me some New Orleans Gold… maybe the 1849-O G$?
That one is in the Box of 80, but this one is available:
And this one if you like 1849-O, don't mind scrambling the letters, and are on a budget
