Got mine today. Think mine got run over by Santa's sleigh. Hoping and praying what's inside is still in one piece. And to think I got myself a PO Box to prevent damage to my mail...
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?
Forget blocking him; find out where he lives and go punch him in the nuts. --WalterSobchak 9/12/12
Looking for Al Hrabosky and any OPC Dave Campbells (the ESPN guy)
Actally, the more I look at the box the more I think someone sliced the side to check out what was inside. Box is still heavy so I don't think anything is missing--but it makes me wonder where this box was. Shows shipped on the 7th which means it took almost two weeks to get here...And no, I did not open it--I'll wait til Christmas to see whats inside.
Recommendation for next year: Let's NOT write secret santa gift on the outside of the boxes and instead go with initials or something.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank Jim "aka Jimrad" for putting this Secret Santa gift exchange together. It's a big undertaking to take on around the busy Holidays - and I think Jim has done an incredible job of keeping up with everything & everybody.
So THANK YOU - Jim, you're a great guy to facilitate this for the board members!

Well boys, probably gonna be tied up with the family tonight so here is my secret Santa gift: with bittersweet emotions I got a very cool 2009 PSA 10 Allen & Ginter Albert Pujols card that I didnt have. Also received a lot of Pujols raw singles and a box of Allen & Ginter packs to rip but didnt get one single Cardinal in the entire box so that kind of blew. Thanks to my secret Santa for a very nice gift! It is much appreciated! Thanks again to Jimrad for undertaking this project & happy holidays to all of my fellow board members and their families. Tigerdean
As an FYI -- I had muggy last year as my secret santa -- and he sent all sorts of NY City trinkets. Well, considering I grew up in the suburbs of NY and worked in the city for many years -- the trinkets Muggy sent meant more to me than the cards.
Agreed, the video of the Muggyman presents is great!
This year -- due to "family vacations" I will be AFK for most of the rest of today and tomorrow. Thus I opened up my package a tad early ---
5 packs: I don't have an easy to use (for me) scanner so I'll just give the highlights:
1992 Ultra baseball: Ken Griffey Jr was the first and best card in the pack. The only other possible HOFer was Dale Murphy
Next oldest pack was 1987 Topps: Best Card Tony Gwynn, next best Greg Swindell RC or Roger Clemens RB
Next Oldest Pack: 1981 Topps Cello: Only card worth mentioning -- Rickey Henderson Stolen Base Leaders with Ron LeFlore
1980 Topps: Robin Young, Ron Guidry and Lou Piniella were the highlights
And the last pack was a 1977 Cloth Stickers Pack: This was the WINNNER WNNER with a Chicken Dinner:
The 2 cards were Steve Carlton and Thurman Munson
Happy holidays!
Rich
