VIP purchases????

Does anyone know how VIP's get coins if they want them. Take the 25th Anniversary set for example how do the senators, congressmen, cabinet secretaries or even foreign dignitaries get their coins? Is there a preferred list that they sign up for? Somehow I cant see them going through the same process we just went through to get their coins. Just curious.

Not putting anything past anyone, but I highly doubt it. There is a hell of a lot more money to make in other areas for them then flipping a new mint issue for a couple of hundred dollars.

Need the following OBW rolls to complete my 46-64 Roosevelt roll set:
    1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S.
Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

I have no doubt they receive special privileges and, if interested, get their coins through back channels. Cheers, RickO

Wouldn't be surprised if the mint makes a point to send every release to every politico of influence. I doubt you even have to ask for them.

They have the "Bills" ... they don't need the chump change, just the ability to work in conjunction with the other side to serve the people, not themselves.

    Rant over. TYVM

I really hope that is no longer the case. They gave their selves enough of a black eye back in the day with that stuff.

Hope the remark about having "Their People" take care of that is more true today.
