The Silver Queen. Virginia City, NV 3261 Silver Dollars

I have not been to Virginia City in 30 or more years. 3,261 Silver Dollars and 28 $20 gold Double Eagles. Does this lady still exist?

    As a kid in the 50's I stood there and tried to count the dollars. I should have just read the
    sign nearby. It was and is an amazing site.

    She used to have gold pieces for ear rings but they've been gone for a long time. There's a lot of history in that town and I always enjoy myself when I visit.
    The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

    A friend of mine was married at that very site, directly in front of all those beautiful dollars - he remembers it fondly.

    My guess is yes but they are all obverse side out.

    From the back of the post card;
    "While only a few of the coins are from Nevada (Carson City) mintage, a large percentage of them undoubtedly contain silver that was first mined thousands of feet beneath this very building."
