Raw flea market find. Beautiful chocolate surfaces and a interesting die state.

<< <i>N-16 (r-1+) Obverse at the face/neck looks a little off but the Noyes plate for the variety looks similar so it may be just fine. EAC 25 if I had to guess. If it slabbed, it would be 10 points higher, IMO. >>
Wow, 25, that's brutal

I could be wrong. I started to write EAC 30 but didn't think there was enough hair detail for a 30. And while I am a member of EAC, I am by no means a copper expert and I suspect there are many folks out there more knowledgeable.

I'm not good at these, but it looks like a 30-35 to my eyes

(but just like EAC, I'd price it at the correct grade, which is IMO is VF38)

<< <i>Well, I grade even tighter than EAC, I grade it a Fine-12 aren't I a super-conservative grader? >>
Me too, beings it isn't my coin. But if it was my coin it becomes a VF-35. In all reality though it is prolly a Vf-25.
