Need the following OBW rolls to complete my 46-64 Roosevelt roll set:
1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S.
Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!

  • I was going to order 1 but $65 shipping is a little extreme.

Perhaps if someone wanted to do a group order.

Don't forget they only take wires.

Average bank fee for wire is $25 at least.

There is also little recourse if something goes wrong.

Nice bars...but I'll wait for the US bullion dealers to get hold of them.

US dealer gets them I'll buy one of each of the silvers if they're not too terribly gouged up.

They are cool as all get out and I'm dying for a domestic dealer to get their paws on these. The 100g bars seem rediculously cool.

I would be in on this for some silvers if someone facilitates. Shipping and wire fees spread out of course, plus a little bird-dog fee for the trouble.

Good god, dealing with the Pamp sales director on trying to find out if any US distributors are getting these is a ridiculous PITA.
  • carew4mecarew4me Posts: 3,470 ✭✭✭✭
    PAMP distribution is very odd.

For some reason, a German outfit had all of these sizes in sealed assay card all over eBay.

No one else had them! (?)

MTB is a wholly owned US Subsidiary of MKS ( Parent Co. of PAMP )... Nothing on their website, but they primarily are a bullion wholesaler. Goldavenue...a Geneva based subsidiary of PAMP, does not have the Dragons as of yet.

I don think so. They do not carry standard Fortuna bars so why these?

No one is saying anything about these outside of one Australian dealer. Odd.

I've been trying to find out from the Pamp sales director person if these are coming to a N.A. distributor. There seems to be an issue with the question in english though.

It happened the same with the 100g Pamp. A German seller had several of them while no one else had that size. Now they are pretty popular.

Along with the 50 gram and 10 oz..which were readily available in Australia.
Australia must not have any import tax duties on these. If you try to order a PAMP from Goldvine, shipped to the US, well, forget it.

  • I've purchased a sizeable quantity of these due for delivery mid-Nov. If interested in purchasing PM me, Paypal, check/MO. Given the high premium, wire fees and shipping costs I have quite a bit of money tied up in these.

Just got this after a back&forth since last Wed:

    Dear Chad,

    Sorry for my late reply.
The Lunar dragon is currently under registration at US custom to be sold in local market. As soon as it is approved, our US branch 'MTB' based in New York will distribute the range locally.
My colleague Michael Kramer (copied in this email) will be in touch with you shortly to inform on possible availability.

    Thank you very much.

    Kind Regards,
    Nadia Haroun

Subject: RE: Fw: Pamp Lunar Dragons for United States retailers?

    Hi Nadia

The problem is that I could not find a United States retailer who would have the Lunar Dragons, only Australian. I was asking if you knew of any that would be getting this product for North America.

    Chad

Good to know that MTB may end up getting them, pending clearance of red tape from US Customs. Unfortunately MTB, as a bullion wholesaler, is not properly set up to play the retail field. We shall see. I know they made an exception with the pucks.

  • MTB had the 1 oz lunar dragons over a month ago so this is not surprising. Not sure if they are sold out or not - I'm guessing yes. Their fixed price on those was $90 each - when money is involved MTB is much more than just a bullion wholesaler.

They are still awaiting customs ok.

  • Some reason I thought we were talking about the Lunar coins from Perth. Its a Pamp thread. Thats intriguing if Pamp is saying they are in customs - my impression was they hadn't even been minted yet.
  • DrBusterDrBuster Posts: 5,378 ✭✭✭✭✭
    Thanks Chad for your email.
We hope you can get access to our range as soon as possible. The sales are very strong in other countries especially in Australia, Asia & East Europe!

    Kind Regards,
    Nadia

    Per DrBuster:

You are probably correct that the physical bars have not been produced yet, but are scheduled for production shortly.

APMEX has a boat load of generic dragon bars available... @ about 1/2 the price of the PAMP bars... but are not nearly as artistic. But it's bullion.

I agree with you Opa. The 10g is going in the $40-50 range.
I will be interested in a 100g Ag and 5g Au but the prices are way too high for me.
Hope to see them available by one of the big guys. MM

I picked up a tray of the 1 oz Ag bars and and a tray of the 10g Ag bars along with a couple 100 gram bars.

They took 6 weeks to arrive. They are very nice. Iw ould have passed except I a weak spot for Pamp bars.

The New York Mint has them available...pre sale price of $55.95 per 1 oz silver bars. Less expensive than what there going for on eBay.

    Thanks OPA.

I have found on eBay a Pamp dragon bar with a blue card (the standard one). Isn't that weird?

PS: The darn 5g Au is too expensive at NYMint as well...
