Now that was one I was waiting to see!

That looks likeit has a lock on a 9, and if we all pray to the grading gods it should be given the elusive 10!

My fingers are crossed for you.

Great pull. Hopefully the top to bottom centering is ok for a 9.

Thanks guys. I was sweating that there wasn't going to be a Ryan in the box. I really wanted the '70 Ryan. The next card, by the way, was a badly miscut Rick Wise.

How does the left side look on that Ryan? Looks like there is a machine mark. image. I hope it's just the scan.

    Thanks,

I see what you're talking about... if I tilt my laptop screen, you can see the contrast on that left edge. That might hurt a bit. Probably a 6 on a good day with that mark, don't you think?

I've had 7s with that little notch. It's a shot in the cods when you don't see it until the grades are in.

    Thanks,

    Jeff/David:

I am not sure I see the notch - in the scan, is it around level with the belt buckle?

Here is another scan...do you still see the notch? It's probably not a perfect card but I would be disappointed if that itself brought it down to a 6.

    Thanks!

  • In the first photo, it's even with his elbow. I can't see it in the second photo.

Yeah, same thought here. The first photo makes it look like a "mild" machine mark, but nothing in this photo.

Why is this card not at PSA yet??

Hold this up to the light at a slight tilt and check for spider creases. In your first scan, it looks like there may be some (to the right of the mets logo on his shoulder). I hope it's just the scan itself and the glare of the flash. As someone else asked, why is this not at psa yet??? image

    really nice card.

    Thanks,

Thanks! So far submitted around 10 from the box with a larger submission. Got a few 9s, a 9OC (one of the Roses), some 8s, a couple 7s (obvious off-centered Mays and Pilots team) and a Hank Aaron All-Star Miscut! No 10s (yet).

I have plenty of more up my sleeve! Regardless of the outcome, I loved opened the box and love the cards.

I'm always shopping for 9's. PM me if you're interested.
