    I do not collect platinum... but in this case, I would pick it hands down over the gold. Much more artistically & pleasing to the eyes.

    However many old style 1 oz. Englehard bars either would equate to. Really don't care for either...jmho.

    The premium on the gold Amero is too high. How has the value been on prior gold Amero issues?

    The platinum sales could be anemic, haven't seen the numbers. But I think the downside is limited.

    Back in the old days (prior to retiring in 2003) I asked my wholesalers WHO bought platinum.

    INDUSTRIAL USERS. Almost NO "investment" money. Just pack em and shippem to the muffler makers.

    Gold is money. Platinum is economic activity. Take your choice of which you expect.

    The gold one is pretty, but if it's over melt, screw it. Buy a COLLECTOR gold coin.
