that's just the tip of the iceberg if I remember right.
edited to say....
Well, maybe that's not the collection I remember. A while back a fella posted some pics of his dad's world gold collection. It was massive. and in red trays like that.

Yes, it is the same collection. (I only changed my nickname)

(well not literally that one, but a picture of one like it. The one in the photos is the one I bought in Tokyo last year)
Also on photobucket gold storks!:
and the attachments are things I've loaded over the years...I'll try and edit and add them.
I love me some darkside gold!
edits:
Britannia in the chariot:
A craptastic picture of one of the gold Canadian Mounties...the ones with the price guarantee and hard to find:
The obverse of another of the Japanese commems--this is for the wedding...I want to say of the Crown Prince in 1993
Irish gold euro:
The obverse of a GB 1893 veiled head 2 pounder (bought from a boardmember when I was a newbie and now resides in an old ANACs 63 slab)
Another Britannia (2001)
A 1996 Chinese Unicorn...when I get back to the US and my SDB this one is coming out, getting slabbed and probably sold considering the current price trends!
and, just for fun, a device to asses weight, diameter and width for the sovereign and half sovereign...how cool is this!
(reminiscing time on that one...I bought it the last time I was in Japan 2002-2004, as well as the sovereigns, and took that picture on an exam table..I'm now back and using the same office! New table at least!)
If I get time enough I'll poke around my old pix and try and add some more. Most of my darksidegold collection is in the SDB until I get back to the US when Uncle Sam is done with me. Couple more years now.

gots one now
These 2 just arrived.
couple 2 pesos and a 1911
roo
The roo is probably my favorite. The color of it vs all my other gold just has a little something extra to it.
