<< <i>This seller, and these ultra rare rolls have been listed on Ebay
every week for a couple years. Many threads have been generated about these rolls, and
this guy keeps goin n goin. I think it's time to roll up some commons,
get me an ink stamp with Carson City State Trust Bank, and part a fool with his money.
This guy is making a killing every week, and Ebay could care less.

EDIT: Frank that Jefferson piece is really cool. Difficult to locate? >>

These Jefferson pattern design pieces are almost impossible to locate
(1,938 mintage each for proof and matte finish)

But the trolls that make themselves feel important by getting ebay
auctions in "unapproved" slabs (even those these have no grades on them) nuked
make these harder than ever to buy online.

Well did a little back tracking on the seller ....

He has sold 10 rolls this year and 7 rolls the year before ... Now thats not bad for something that is ULTRA RARE .... 17 rolls ??? Seems like he should needs to slow down and make some more old paper to roll them in ... There was two replies in the from buyers who opened the coins and reported what was inside ... Highly improperly cleaned end coins and just a bunch of shined up Un-circulateds on the inside.

I should get some 30 year old paper grocery bags and start rolling up i guess ... hell he has made about 80 to 100K

[q[I suppose that you are an authority on bank history of the USA now?
The Depression caused 100's of banks to close down.
    Just sayin... >>

    I am a good researcher.

Since banks advertise, file with government agencies, sue and get sued, merge, get bought out, get robbed, fail, plus people
collect old bank adverising material and cancelled checks...there is always at least a few dozen references of even the most
    obscure bank.

The only references to this "bank" are questions about these fantasy "original" rolls being sold on eBay.

Well decided to contact the seller and ask a few questions ( I have X"ed out my ebay name for this post )

    Dear xxxxxxxxxxxx,

His Grandfather and his friend who was a bank exec from th bank of italy in the 60s or early 70s. It is unclear how they got them but the owner inherited a number of them from his father in 2003. He became aware before his fathers passing of the rolls the friend had. The friend passed in 2005-2006.

He made a deal with kids of of the estate for I guess an option contract to buy installments from 2006 to date. I think he still can get another 50 SS and 25 FS but after that there is no more.

    Dear allraritiesllc,

I am interested in purchasing but have a few questions first.

    1. How many did you start with ?
    2. How many you have left ?
    3. would you consider a bulk offer for all remaining ?
