Semi-Key date- HAEVILY PVC DAMAGED- Destruction Poll

I have a semi-key coin that was stored for, well since PVC flips were invented. It is ingrained , eaten holes into the silver, all over the coin, after a 12 hour soak and a wooden tooth pick, no removal, then steel dental tool, had to scrape down to fresh silver to get it off. Someone already used some sort of plastic brush or copper brush and some kind of liquid to remove some whatever they got off. Not going to spend 200 hours to clean up a $250 already trashed coin. It is a half dollar- So the options.

Add pocket piece to your poll and I'll vote. I'd love to see a pic of this coin.

Naturally, I want to see the 1000 yard option... not doubting you, just like to see the results of superb marksmanship. Cheers, RickO

Melt bucket. It deserves a dignified end.

Do not keep it, it will just frustrate you.
  • My match rifle is capable of a 3" throw at 1000 so it may take a few shots and may not be perfect. You can take the perfect shooter and the best rifle and still have incidents. A Lot of factors vary in at 1000 yards.

I would have voted pocket piece, but you don't have that on your list.

I'm going for the 1000 yard option ... just tape it on a target ... five shots or until it isn't taped on the target anymore ... pictures of the coin and the target, and which shot it was
