I noticed the BST thread has been a bit quiet, is anyone thinking about stacking?
My local B&M said for every seller there are 2 buyers in line.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

Me too. That's why I couldn't pass up the AGE at under melt.

<< <i>I bought a complete AU/BU dansco set of Franklins this afternoon for melt... Flashy and full of luster... $510.
I love full weight 90% silver. >>
I still have a set of raw Franklins to sell that belong to my brother (meltdown, you likely remember his eclectic collection from some of the OFR BST offerings). The coins are 63-64, some FBLs. Anyway, he paid seven hundred for it. Told him that nobody wants to buy it...I have tried! I guess someday if silver continues its rocket ride, someone might want the collection for melt!
a YEAR AGO i had several 100's of ounces of silver and like a dope i sold them a few months too early
can't help but kick myself.. constantly
my hand is down. I've been selling a good bit of 90% and taking a profit when I can.
Too many positive BST transactions with too many members to list.

<< <i>If anything, thinking of selling some silver to get some gold. >>
Folks who have none should prolly buy some.
Folks who have LOTS should prolly sell some.
In 1980, "success" was largely measured by how many "free"
houses folks ended up with by being lucky/smart/perfect timers.
This time, "success" could be measured by how many "free"
strip-malls folks end up with by buying/selling/trading in lucky
fashion.
........
If it becomes obvious that "things" will change by 2013, there will
be harsh corrections from the yet to be established new highs.
NO hoarder makes a profit until he sells. "Paper profits" are sure
academically interesting, but collecting those profits in the currency
of the realm and other historic value storehouses is really how the
score is kept in this game.
I knew it would happen.
Now need to find a bezel for it.

In the meantime, I'm buying Pucks whenever an opportunity to buy them near melt pops up.
I knew it would happen.

<< <i>....................... And I'm watching as the price of platinum continues to trend higher...... >>
Well I'm metaphorically standing in line outside the men's room, shifting my weight from one foot to the other, and praying for that. Actually I'm praying for 'skyrocket higher' but at this point I'd settle for 'trend'.
And uh God?, please SOON!

All the real action seems to be in silver and gold. Maybe we'll have some Pt fun yet or maybe it's a harbinger of:
1.
2.
3.
and/or
4.
One may fill in the above numbers by consulting other threads of one's own choosing but it is obligatory that each be even more dire than the others as well as more certain to occur.
----
Meanwhile I have to return to line. Maybe I can buy some 90% from the guy in front of me and sell to the guy behind! Might as well pass the time profitably I guess.

Seems like $33 is the general census for our next support level.

<< <i>What's your new price target for buying? >>
Here is my plan:
I am planning for three purchases for long term holding, possibly starting in June.
I don't have a specific price target. It all depends on the market.
I will definitely not try to catch the falling knife by trying to time the bottom. I will rather make the 1st purchase when I see a "bottom" being tested twice.
If it continues to go up, I will place the 2nd and 3rd purchase within 3 months.
If it continues to go down, I will wait for a new "bottom" to form and being tested twice again and I will place my 2nd purchase , and so on.
